A Study Of Family Caregivers’ Factors Affecting Recovery Of Schizophrenic Patients And Intervention Strategies ——The Example Of C District Of S City

Schizophrenia is a common chronic psychiatric disease with the characteristics of protracted disease course and easy recurrence.With the increasing prevalence of schizophrenia in the past decade,the problems affecting the rehabilitation of schizophrenia patients have also received increasing attention.Family caregivers bear the main responsibility for the recovery of patients with schizophrenia,so it is necessary to understand and analyze the factors that affect the recovery of patients with family caregivers.The intervention of mental health social work can provide multiple services to family caregivers and patients with schizophrenia,so that patients can better recover and reintegrate into society.This article uses qualitative research methods to collect subjective views of family caregivers and patients on the factors that affect the recovery of patients with schizophrenia through participatory observation and semi-structured interviews.Through the analysis of the data,it is found that the family caregivers of schizophrenia and the patients think that the factors of family caregivers that affect the patient’s recovery include behavioral factors,expectation factors and demand factors,and there is also a relationship between the three factors.1.The behavioral factors of family caregivers have a direct impact on the recovery of patients.In different stages of the rehabilitation process,family caregivers will adopt different behaviors.Timely and appropriate behaviors will promote the patient’s recovery,otherwise,it will hinder the patient’s recovery;2.The family caregiver’s expectation factor has a dynamic influence on the patient’s recovery.The expectations of family caregivers are formed according to the actual source and harvest support,and have the characteristics of stages and "no feeling of disease",and the expectation factor of family caregivers is the driving force that supports family caregivers to insist on caring for patients,and it is also the driving force to support the recovery of patients;3.The needs of family caregivers have a restrictive influence on the patient’s rehabilitation.In the process of caring for patients,family caregivers will face physical,psychological,economic and social difficulties;at the same time,family caregivers’ needs include concerns about patients,needs in the care process,and needs for social environment.The gap in the needs of family caregivers constrains the behavior of family caregivers,makes family caregivers lower their expectations,indirectly affects the recovery of patients,and makes family caregivers more dependent on social support.Based on the factors affecting the recovery of patients by family caregivers of schizophrenia,this paper proposes a mental health social work intervention model with the goal of patient recovery and emphasizing the influence of family caregivers,including counseling services for family life,linking services for home rehabilitation,and social-returning services.Advocacy Services.This article discusses the factors that affect the recovery of patients with schizophrenia family caregivers,emphasizes the importance of family caregivers to rehabilitation,and provides a basis for mental health social work practice,and promotes the professional development of mental health social work.
