With the rapid development of construction of vocational education teaching materials,the development of professional courses’ textbooks in higher vocational education has achieved remarkable results,but the low quality of professional courses’ textbooks in higher vocational education is still the key problem to be solved urgently.Therefore,constructing evaluation standards of the quality and studying the quality of professional courses’ textbooks in higher vocational education is of great importance to enrich the evaluation system of vocational education teaching materials,promote the healthy development of vocational teaching material construction and select high-quality teaching material in higher vocational education.Using structuralism theory,vocational education curriculum theory and textbook compilation theory,this study constructs an analytical framework,and analyzes the quality of professional courses’ textbooks in higher vocational education.Firstly,based on the textbook compilation theory,three first-class indicators of the textbook quality evaluation standard of higher vocational professional courses are determined:content selection,content organization and content presentation.Then,combined with the literature method and Delphi method,the second-class indicators,specific standards and weight coefficients are determined,and finally the quality evaluation standard of textbooks for professional courses in higher vocational education is formed;Secondly,regard the textbooks as a "structure",randomly select 84 textbooks from the research base of textbooks of vocational education,and make an overall analysis and case analysis of the textbooks from the six dominant elements of introduction,catalogue,teaching objectives,knowledge,language and charts;Finally,based on the overall analysis and case analysis,according to the above evaluation standards,this paper analyzes the quality of textbooks for professional courses in higher vocational education,explores the current situation and of textbooks for professional courses in higher vocational education,and puts forward the corresponding countermeasures.Therefore,this study draws the following conclusions: The first one,the content quality is the core quality of professional courses’ textbooks in higher vocational education.Content selection is the primary link in the compilation of textbooks.The knowledge and content of its selection determine the overall quality of textbooks.Next one,There are still many problems in the quality of higher vocational education courses in the process of teaching materials.The lack of standard content selection leads to poor practicability of textbooks;The logic of content organization is confused,which leads to the unclear main line of textbooks;The poor harmony of the content leads to the low readability of the textbook.Lastly,in view of the quality problems,the textbooks for professional courses in higher vocational education must have a good "entrance" to ensure that the content selection is based on standards;Establish a "backbone",with professional logic as the main and teaching logic as the auxiliary;Control the "export" line and deal with the relationship among figure,language and tables.
