Vocational Colleges Tourist Class' Professional Quality Evaluation System

Under the new situation, one of higher vocational education 's important tasks is to achieve supply and demand balance on the maximum extent between colleges and enterprises. Namely, colleges train those kinds of person who enterprises need, and enterprises use those kinds of person who colleges train.Currently, the main problem of vocational colleges' personnel training is that, students cannot adapt themselves to the jobs after graduate from colleges, it's not easy to use knowledge they study in colleges in the work, they can not receive recognition from the employers as soon as possible. To solve this problem, vocational colleges must realize the difference between the professional quality of the students and the enterprises' staff. It is an efficient way to reduce this kind of difference by establishing and carrying on the students' professional quality appraisal system.The development of modern tourism urges the great change of the tourist's consumer demand, tourism enterprises' personnel standard also changes with it. Enterprises no longer only pay attention to whether staff is skilled, they pay more attention to whether staff has the noble occupational moral consciousness, serves other people's consciousness, team cooperation consciousness, whether they have the strong interpersonal communication ability and career development ability. The personnel standard of enterprises' electing person, also changes from the sole to the diversification. The elements and appraisal standard of professional quality of tourism students in higher vocational colleges and universities should change along with it.The current research of professional quality of students in higher vocational colleges and universities mainly includes two aspects- the formation and the appraisal of professional quality, and pays more attention to the theoretical research, the study on application is relatively lesser.This article aims at solving the above problem through the professional quality constitution and appraisal system construction research, making every effort to innovate the way and the method, urging the professional personnel who vocational colleges train to adapt themselves to the tourism enterprises' personnel demand, being useful in the research of professional quality appraisal system construction of tourism students in higher vocational colleges and universities.This article conbines the standard research and the empirical study, the literature summary and the theoretical analysis , on-the-spot investigation and the statistical analysis, refers to the theory and analysis method of management, education, tourism and other related subjects, pays great attention to human resources management, the education for all-around development, the tourism management and so on, from many aspects- profession, colleges, students and so on,makes every effort to achieve the combination of theory and practice , qualitative and quantitative, domestic and overseas, static state and dynamic state.This article analyzes tourism practitioner's professional quality constitution, derives the professional quality which tourism students in higher vocational colleges and universities should have, and analyzes the necessity of carrying on the professional quality appraisal and the deficiency which exists in this aspect, proposes the professional quality appraisal system construction mentality, and gives some examples to explain the steps and the methods of the construction.This article is the research results of the author who participates in the construction of model national institutions of Weihai Vocational College, it is the result of the long time consideration and the exploration practice, it proposes its own opinion to the ways ,the methods and the contents of professional quality appraisal system construction of tourism students in higher vocational colleges and universites,forms the professional quality appraisal system of tourism students in higher vocational colleges and universites from omni-directionally, multi-level, the multiple perspectives consideration, it will play a positive role in solving the bottleneck problem between vocational education and enterprises 'demands.The major points of this article are: The professional quality appraisal system of tourism students in higher vocational colleges and universites must reflect the characteristics of tourism industry; it must take tourism practitioner's quality request as a standard; The training process of students' professional quality is also the appraisal process of students' professional quality; The professional quality appraisal system of tourism students in higher vocational colleges and universites must establish at the basis of college-enterprise cooperation, implements the multi-appraisal main body, multi-dimensional appraisal method, omni-directional, multi-level professional quality synthetic evaluations.
