Study On The Influencing Factors Of Basketball Referees Ability Of College Students In Northwest China

This paper takes basketball referees from 22 colleges and universities in northwest China as the research object.Through the research methods of literature,expert interview,questionnaire,logical analysis,mathematical statistics and so on,This paper analyzes the current situation of basketball referees in colleges and universities in northwest China（gender,educational background,basketball skill level,basketball training years,grades,officiating sessions,officiating top-level games,English level）and the factors affecting their officiating ability,and conducts statistical analysis on the obtained survey data.This paper finds out the factors that affect the refereeing ability of campus basketball referees in northwest China and puts forward some reasonable suggestions.The conclusions are as follows:（1）The current situation of basketball referees in colleges and universities in northwest China: The imbalance of male and female ratio affects the construction of the referee team and the lack of female basketball referees;Only one of the judges There are 3 national referees and 28 first-level referees.There are too few senior basketball referees.The referee There are fewer times of adjudication each year,the level of adjudication competition is too low,the lack of experience of adjudication competition,the lack of experience of adjudication,very big Degree of influence on the referee’s ability to improve;The referee’s English level is generally weak.（2）Factors affecting basketball referees’ ability of college students in northwest China: Lack of theoretical learning: not paying enough attention to the learning of basketball rules,refereeing methods,and theoretical knowledge of basketball techniques and tactics;Emotional control ability needs to be improved.In the referee,the words and deeds of the players and coaches will make the referee lose control of his emotions.The referee is not calm enough,low anti-interference ability,lack of on-the-spot experience.In the face of consecutive high-intensity matches against referees Referees have less opportunities to practice and lack of experience in adjudication.Lack of professionalism on the spot,ref The staff paid insufficient attention to the pre-match preparation activities,pre-match preparation meeting,post-match referee summary and post-match video observation.The home-away switch interferes with the referee’s ruling ability;Referees will be nervous and not confident when they are conducting criticalrefereeing.Referees are also prone to interference from fans on the spot,which hinders refereeing.On this basis,the following suggestions are made:（1）Attract more women to join the referee team and cultivate excellent female referees.Intensify efforts to train basketball referees above the first level,strive to undertake high-level competitions,increase the opportunities for referees to judge contests and competitions,and accumulate experience.To strengthen the study of referee English,especially basketball English,referees try to hold refereeing matches in English.（2）All colleges and universities should add referees’ theoretical knowledge related courses,timely update the theoretical knowledge,and lay a solid foundation for referees to improve their refereeing ability.Strengthen psychology study,self-interference ability.Referees should strengthen physical training and physical reserves.Provide more practice opportunities for student referees.Adjust the teaching program of basketball referee,emphasize the importance of pre-match work and post-match work.Home and away situation referees should overcome anxiety,adapt to the game,master the initiative of the game.Key games,with a normal heart to treat,bold referee.The school arranges referees to officiate in front of a large audience to enhance their confidence.
