With the development of The Times and the needs of the society,people are increasingly aware of the importance of sports.In recent years,a series of relevant policy documents have been released in China,which indicates that the country attaches increasing importance to the development of physical education,which cannot be separated from the development and promotion of school physical education in various provinces and regions.Due to the different situation of each state in the United States,under the jurisdiction of the education department of the state government,the physical education curriculum standards developed in combination with the reality of the local situation are also different.In 2020,the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction issued the physical education curriculum standards in line with the physical education development of schools in the state based on the National physical Education curriculum standards of the United States,which is considered as one of the educational benchmarks in the United States.With the development of global physical education curriculum reform,physical education and health curriculum in China is also facing great challenges and opportunities.Therefore,this paper through the interpretation and research of Wisconsin physical education curriculum standards,take its essence,to remove its dross,so as to provide reference for the development of sports in different areas of our country.This study takes the specific content and characteristics of the Wisconsin physical education curriculum standard as the research object,and uses the literature method,text analysis method and comparative research method to analyze from five aspects.Considering that the Wisconsin standards for PE are formulated and extended on the basis of the US National Physical Education Curriculum Standards,the main task of the first part of this paper is to sort out and summarize the literature on the physical education curriculum standards under the framework of the United States,so as to carry out the study of the Wisconsin sports curriculum standard to lay the research foundation of literature.The second part gives a systematic introduction to the theoretical basis of this study,including the basis for standard formulation,guidelines and the exploration of physical education literacy.The third part introduces the revision background of Wisconsin physical education curriculum standards,systematically analyzes the curriculum objectives,curriculum content and evaluation system,and lays a case foundation for the study.The fourth part analyzes the characteristics of the curriculum standard on the basis of the third part.The fifth part is based on the analysis of the characteristics of physical education curriculum standards in Wisconsin,to implement the revision and development of local physical education curriculum standards,and put forward the enlightenment research on the development of local school physical education in China.Through the research,the following conclusions are drawn: the physical education curriculum objectives in Wisconsin appear in the form of grade-level achievements,focus on the connection of objectives,and have the characteristics of comprehensiveness,specificity,meticulousness,progressiveness and operability.The curriculum aims to“educate people”,focusing on students’ social and emotional learning,and linking with students’ further education and employment.The content of physical education courses has the characteristics of comprehensiveness and diversity,and the content of courses in different grades has different focuses.It guides physical education teachers to focus on the key points in the teaching process.In addition,the content of courses not only emphasizes lifelong sports,but also integrates the content of courses into daily life.It also respects the main body of students and implements individualized education plans.The evaluation system is student-centered,and has the characteristics of adhering to the combination of subjective evaluation and objective evaluation,qualitative evaluation and quantitative evaluation,diversified evaluation methods,diversified evaluation subjects,rich evaluation tools and strong operability.Therefore,the following inspirations can be drawn for the development of school physical education in different regions of China:(1)China should respect the regional differences and make clear the local curriculum standards in line with the local actual development needs on the basis of the national physical education standards;(2)China’s local standards should refine the national curriculum standard level objectives,and pay attention to the convergence of objectives in the implementation process;(3)Some regions of our country should carry out characteristic sports projects according to local actual conditions,and increase outdoor sports if conditions permit,and cultivate lifelong sports awareness;(4)Pay attention to the cultivation of students’ sports spirit and moral character,shape students’ personality and integrate it into daily life;(5)Enrich the evaluation tools and improve the operability of the evaluation system.
