| Taijiquan,for a long time,has been considered as boring.The study,based on the introduction of Rouli Taichi Balll,a large ball sport with unique traditional cultural connotation,is an attempt to inject fresh blood both into the Taiji class and the college physical education class so as to observe whether Rouli Taichi Balll can achieve good results in the teaching and provide a theoretical basis for the introduction of Rouli Taichi Ball into the college physical education class.Research method: This study mainly adopts document analysis,experimental method,mathematical and statistical method,expert interview method,case study method and logical analysis method to analyze the introduction of Rouli Taichi Ball into college physical education class.According to the study,three classes were randomly selected among the physical education classes of East China Normal University.They are the experimental class,the control 1 class and the control 2 class,with a total of 99 students studying for one semester of Rouli Taichi Ball.For the experimental class is to teach the technical movements of Rouli Taichi Ball;of control class 1 is simplified twenty-four Yang-style taijiquan;of control 2 class is 23Chen-style Taijiquan.Before and after the experiment,students in these classes were using the "Physical Education Learning Interest Scale for College Students" to collect their age,height,weight,BMI,standing long jump,sit-ups,balance,lung capacity and heart rate at quiet,and finally,comparative analysis was conducted.In addition,this study also analyzed the case of the public class of Rouli Taichi Ball conducted by East China Normal University.Research results:1)Rouli Taichi Ball can enhance students’ interest in physical education learning.The experimental results showed that there were significant differences in the three dimensional indicators which are skill learning(T=-2.186,P=0.037<0.05),after-school activities(T=-2.516,P=0.017<0.05),and physical education attention(T=-2.367,P=0.025<0.05)before and after the experiment.In addition,the experimental class has significant differences in the two dimensional indicators which are negativity(T=2.935,P=0.006<0.01)and positivity(T=-2.890,P=0.007<0.01).And it can be seen by the mean value that the students’ scores in five dimensions,such as negativity,motivation,skill learning,after-school activities,and physical education concern,have improved significantly after the experiment.This indicates that the Rouli Taichi Ball do enhance students’ interest in physical education learning.2)Rouli Taichi Ball can effectively improve students’ physical ability,especially leg strength,waist and abdominal strength and balance.The experimental results showed that there were significant differences in three indicators before and after the experiment,including standing long jump(T=-2.187,P=0.037<0.05),sit-up(T=-2.384,P=0.024<0.05),and balance(T=-2.081,P=0.046<0.05).This shows that Rouli Taichi Ball is highly effective for exercise,and can improve students’ physical ability.3)The experimental results showed that there was a significant difference in the lung capacity level(T=-2.544,P=0.016<0.05)before and after the experiment.This demonstrates that the practice of Rouli Taichi Ball also has a positive effect on lung capacity.4)The public class of Rouli Taichi Ball was also very effective,as the students were very interested and engaged in learning the sport.Most of the students were new to the sport,but they encounter no barrier to learning it.The teachers and students who participated in the practice of Rouli Taichi Ball expressed their approval of the sport and believe that the sport has an exciting prospect.Conclusion: 1)Compared with taijiquan,Rouli Taichi Ball is able to gain greater interest in physical education.2)Rouli Taichi Ball is a sport with traditional cultural connotation and high exercise value.It helps to improve students’ leg strength,core strength of waist and abdomen,balance and lung capacity,and will surely be welcomed in universities.3)The introduction of Rouli Taichi Ball into college physical education meets the demand of the reform of college physical education and inject fresh blood into taiji class.Research suggestions: 1)The teaching system of Rouli Taichi Ball should be constantly improved so that it can be popularized and promoted in universities.2)Develop a complete promotion system and discover suitable promotion strategies and methods.3)Encourage traditional and cultural sports into campus so as to inherit and carry forward the excellent Chinese traditional culture. |
