Abstract/Summary:
Since ancient times, dancing and singing are the most natural ways for human beings to express themselves, and the two are inseparable. As a very direct and natural method for children to express themselves and reproduce music, movement performance has been designed by educators into various music activities. However, the theory behind the relationship between body movement and music needs to be further studied. This study explored whether and what kind of impact will movement participation have on the music perception of the children. It mainly adopted educational experiment method, supplemented by interview method and work analysis method. The study evaluated the music perception level of 64 senior children in two teaching situations with and without movement participation. The study used Spss25.0 software to quantify the statistical results of children’s music perception level, and conducted paired sample T-tests for the experimental group and the control group before and after the test. The study found that there were significant differences in the pre-test and post-test of the experimental group, but no significant differences were found in the control group. The researchers conducted an independent sample T-test on the post-test of the experimental group and the control group, and the results showed that there was a significant difference between the two.The overall music perception of the children in the experimental group changed from the overall perception of the non-time dimension to the identification and comprehensive confirmation of the music time dimension.Based on the experiment, the researchers described and analyzed the testing situation of the two groups of children in the experimental process, and found that the children in the experimental group had a higher level of music perception and more perception of the time dimension than the children in the control group. The visual representation of the children in the experimental group was more complex, the abstraction increased and the stability decreased. In the perception of each musical element, the children in the experimental group developed rapidly in the perception of speed and strength. The experimental group developed in the structure of the music and the perception of melody. There was little difference between the two groups in perception of timbre and emotional emotion. Finally, according to the research results and practical experience, the researcher gives some educational suggestions for kindergarten comprehensive art activities: Pay attention to the value of children’s movement participation in the development of music perception ability;Choose music works and body movements that are easy for children to perceive; To guide children to use their bodies Actions express music and musical elements; To meet the needs of children in various forms of music perception.
