| Among the accidental deaths of primary and middle school students, drowning is the third leading cause of unintentional injury deaths in the country, and it is also one of the main causes of accidental deaths.Since 2006 the Ministry of Education has provided safety education on "prevention of drowning";in 2007,the Ministry of Education issued "Do a good job in the prevention of primary and secondary school students drowning accidents" notice, the notice mentions that all levels of education administrative departments and schools must strictly implement the provisions and requirements of the "Measures for the Safety Management of Primary and Secondary Schools and Kindergartens" and the "Public Safety Education Guidelines for Primary and Secondary Schools".Statistics on drowning accidents in recent years found that drowning basically occurred in natural waters, especially in unattended rivers, reservoirs, ponds and other wild natural waters in rural areas. The investigation into the "prevention of drowning" education in rural primary schools is particularly important. As the main place for students to study and live, school safety education can not only ensure the normal teaching work of school; In terms of the surrounding environment of the school, the supervision of students and the wide area of "anti-drowning" monitoring in rural areas, compared with cities, there is no standardized management and no pertinence.Family education is the basis of children’s school education and social education, but because most parents in rural areas need to go out to work or busy farming, resulting in no one to pick up their children during school.Nowadays, the lack of social care for teenagers and children leads to accidents and accidents."Water area safety education" is a purposeful and intentional educational activity that helps the educated individuals to predict, predict and analyze dangers, and limit, control and eliminate dangers in the wading activities. It not only includes the knowledge and skills of self-rescue and life-saving to control and eliminate the danger of water accidents, but also includes the awareness, knowledge and skills to predict and prevent the occurrence of water accidents. This research mainly adopts literature data method, interview method, questionnaire survey method, mathematical statistics method,on-the-spot investigation method of water security of guilin countryside elementary school education status of empirical investigation, through to the guilin twelve county rural "elementary school" completely, with the method of stratified sampling from natural waters and more able to carry out safety education of rural primary school;Due to the limitation of time and capacity, rural primary schools with abundant water areas and conditions to carry out water safety education in six counties were selected.Primary school students, parents, teachers and administrators; The form of school development, content, class hours and teaching feedback of these four aspects; The safety knowledge, safety skills, safety awareness and safety behavior of students;Investigation was conducted on parents’ knowledge of water safety, parents’ expectations for students’ water safety education and their opinions on water safety education in schools. The current situation of water safety education in rural primary schools in Guilin city was obtained and the collected data was analyzed, and relevant suggestions were put forward for existing problems. The survey subjects selected 18 rural primary schools in Yangshuo County,Pingle County,Xing’an County,Lingchuan County,Lipu County and Lingui District in Guilin City. The survey method and interview method were mainly used to conduct water safety education in rural primary schools in Guilin City.Investigate the situation and use the descriptive statistics of SPSS software for data analysis. The survey results show that the current water safety education in rural primary schools is insufficient, students have insufficient knowledge of water safety, weak awareness, and zero foundation in swimming skills;insufficient communication between the school and parents, and parents do not have a deep understanding of water safety knowledge, and the natural waters surrounding the school Environmental management is not rigorous. In response to the existing problems, the following suggestions are put forward:1.Relevant government departments supervise water safety education in rural schools, and incorporate water safety education related teaching into school education;the government increases capital investment to build swimming pools in schools or surrounding areas;local governments need to strengthen the management of natural waters and water resettlement Warning signs, fences, and life-saving equipment are regularly scheduled to be inspected and supervised by special personnel.2.The school pays attention to the education of students’ safety knowledge and awareness, especially the guardianship of left-behind children, vigorously trains professional teachers in water safety education, establishes a professional team of teachers, and offers swimming lessons, reasonably arranges swimming skills learning courses to enhance student safety Educational awareness, and cultivate students’ safety education skills.Teachers should actively play an important role in safety education.3.Strengthen the linkage between home and school,so that parents and students can learn how to prevent drowning accidents from understanding to mastering the knowledge of water safety, and strengthen the supervision of students.Pay special attention to holidays and weekends when students are frequently drowning. |
