| Under the background of the information society, the way of home-school cooperation has undergone great changes. At present,We Chat groups have become the main way of home-school communication. We Chat’s "disterritoriality" enables people to re-establish social relationships across time and space boundaries, which helps to build a partnership-type home-school partnership. But there is always a gap between ideal and reality. In the home-school We Chat group, everyone seems to have the right to be in it,but not everyone can be in it.In other words,We Chat groups create an equal communication environment, but do not constitute an equal cooperative home-school relationship. This study conducted a three-month "on-the-spot" investigation by entering the school’s family committee group in a public primary school, trying to observe the verbal expression and interaction of the insiders as an "outsider",and targeted some teachers and parents to conduct research.Through in-depth interviews, research materials were collected through a combination of online and offline methods to comprehensively examine the current situation of home-school We Chat groups, and to understand how information technology has embedded and changed the structure of home-school relationships in the traditional sense. The study found that the temporal and spatial characteristics of the "symbol presence" of We Chat groups and the timespace retrospective of information allow teachers and parents to get rid of the constraints of time and space and achieve real-time interaction.A home-school communication model with stronger communication, more frequent information exchange, and closer relationship is gradually taking shape in We Chat groups. However, the phenomenon of "school-centrism" in the home-school We Chat group is also more obvious. On the one hand, the solidification of parents’ cognition of the traditional home-school relationship provides a cultural soil for the excessive deepening and extension of teachers’ professionalism in We Chat groups, which promotes the unequal status of home and school. On the other hand, due to the heavy school work tasks, teachers often choose to only complete the school’s regulations and are unwilling to carry out too much emotional communication in We Chat groups, resulting in rich home-school interactions being simplified into rigid information notifications.Home-school We Chat The group becomes the communication tool of the school’s will to power and the prescribed discourse, thereby strengthening the dominant position of teachers in the home-school relationship. Therefore, jointly creating a We Chat space for equal dialogue is the key to achieving equal interaction between teachers and parents in We Chat groups. This research mainly consists of five parts: the first part is the introduction, this part mainly expounds the reason and significance of this research topic, summarizes the relevant research status, defines the relevant core concepts, and explains the research method and process. The second part mainly describes in detail the current situation of the interaction between teachers and parents in the We Chat group, mainly presenting three sociological scenarios, the daily communication between teachers and parents, the choice of school uniform styles, the limited game between the family committee and the school, the volunteer care Conflicts within the family committee in the recruitment of school posts. The third part mainly uses the theory of social practice to rationally examine the communication practice in the home-school We Chat group. In the home-school We Chat group, due to the influence of the inherent identity characteristics of parents and teachers in the process of communication, the limitation of cognitive level, and the differentiation of parent groups, the home-school encounters a benign interaction dilemma, which is manifested in the "status imbalance" of home-school status, parents "identity division" and parents’ "cognitive fracture" of We Chat groups. The fourth part mainly discusses possible ways to solve the dilemma of the home-school We Chat group. The study believes that both the home and the school should be guided by "common goals",take "meaning negotiation" as the mechanism, and use "practical problems" as the basis to jointly create a We Chat space for equal dialogue,so as to achieve equal interaction between teachers and parents in We Chat groups.,to establish a truly democratic and equal home-school relationship. Finally, the conclusion part summarizes the main points of this research, and reflects on the shortcomings and existing problems of this research. Then guide both home and school to form a more equal, inclusive and diverse homeschool relationship with the help of We Chat group, and return to the original intention of establishing home-school We Chat group. |
