A Narrative Study On The Career Development Of A Famous Elementary School Principal ——Taking A Famous Principal C Of Guizhou Province As An Example

In the final analysis,the competition of comprehensive national stren gth in today’s world is the competition of talents.Schools are an importan t field of talent training,and a strong education makes a strong country.T herefore,we should actively develop education and train excellent talents.With the continuous deepening of education reform,basic education has entered a new stage of development,and the gradual improvement of edu cation and teaching quality is inseparable from the efforts of education pr actitioners,especially the principal,as the soul of a school,the level of ab ility and quality determines its career development level,but also directly related to the future development of the school.Today,with the prosperity of basic education,a large number of outstanding principals have emerge d.The growing ranks of famous principals have injected new vitality into the development of schools.How to promote the career development of p rincipals and how to become an excellent famous principal have become a series of issues worthy of attention.Through narrative research,this stu dy deeply explores the career development of primary school principals,f ocuses on the different stages and characteristics of the career developme nt of a famous principal,and explores the factors influencing the career d evelopment of famous principals,aiming to provide experience and refere nce for the career development of primary school principals.This study selected elementary school principal C the principal as th e research object,using literature study and narrative method,based on th e existing research results about the principal professional development at home and abroad,on the basis of career development stages theory,follo w the primary school of the principal professional development "stage div ision,factor analysis,revelation" study of logic,From the four stages of p rincipal C’s entry into the education world,career transition stage,career stability stage and career breakthrough stage,this paper makes a retrospec tive investigation of her career development process,excavates key event s and figures in the career development process of principal C,and tries t o analyze and conclude the important factors affecting the career develop ment of principal C.The study found that the important factors affecting the career development of Principal C can be summarized from the career development process of Principal C,which is mainly reflected in the following five aspects: seizing career development opportunities under the principal access system;riching career development experience under internal management system;improving the quality of career development under the learning and training system;expressing career development feelings under the education poverty alleviation policy;and leading the idea of education and running schools under firm political awareness.Through the true narration and image presentation of principal C’s career development story,it is found that the career development process of principal C is a process of continuous accumulation and dynamic change,which requires continuous learning and reflection and innovative practice in order to achieve gradual career development and ultimately achieve selftranscendence.Therefore,according to the factors affecting the career development of principal C,three universal suggestions for promoting the career development of primary school principals are proposed: First,starting from the national policy system level,supporting policies related to the career development of principals should be introduced,scientific and reasonable career development training for principals should be strengthened,and the implementation and construction of the ‘famous principal’ project should be vigorously promoted,and the relevant systems of the principal’s career development path should be improved;from the level of school organizational environment,it is necessary to improve the construction of internal governance structure and create a benign atmosphere of inter-school competition;starting from the level of individual independent development,It is necessary to clarify the career development plan,firmly grasp the strategic opportunity,improve the level of political ideology,empower and increase the teaching team,innovate the era of school running concepts,and highlight their unique charm.
