With the rapid development of society,the division of labor is becoming more and more refined,which puts forward higher and higher requirements for individual cooperation ability.Cooperation ability is one of the indispensable qualities for children to adapt to society in the future,and it is clearly emphasized in the Kindergarten Education Guidance Outline(Trial)to cultivate children’s cooperation ability.Relevant studies show that 4-5 years old is a critical period for developing children’s cooperative ability,and the improvement of children’s cooperation ability is crucial to their future study and life.Picture books are very suitable for children to read.With their beautiful and delicate style of painting,witty and interesting storylines,and lively characters,they can comprehensively help children construct their own spiritual world.On the basis of perceiving and understanding the content of the story,children experience the excellent qualities of the characters,and combine with their own experience to gradually form stable behavior habits through assimilation and adaptation.This study uses picture books reflecting the theme of unity and cooperation as the carrier to improve the cooperation ability of middle-class children through action research.This study selected middle-class children in a kindergarten in Guilin as the research object.Before the implementation of the action research,the researcher entered the research class for preliminary observation and participated in the children’s one-day activities.The pre-test of the ability,combined with the results of the pre-test and the observation of the children’s one-day activities,found that the development status of the cooperative ability of the children in the middle class is not ideal,and there is still much room for improvement.After expert evaluation and scoring,and in-depth analysis and discussion with cooperative teachers,16 picture books were strictly selected as educational materials from more than 40 picture books rich in the theme of unity and cooperation,and the 8-week picture book education and teaching activity was carried out.In the form of group picture book teaching,reading in the library area and extension activities,purposeful and planned picture book education activities are carried out for the research class.Starting from the four dimensions of children’s cooperation ability(cooperation cognition,cooperation emotion,cooperation will and cooperation skills),one week after the8-week picture book teaching activity,the "Evaluation Questionnaire for Teachers of Children’s Cooperation Ability" was used to evaluate the cooperation ability of children in the research class.Post-test was conducted to compare the development and changes of children’s cooperative ability before and after the activity.After the study,the researchers put more than 30 picture books on the theme of unity and cooperation in the library area for teachers and children to continue to carry out related activities,and continued to follow and pay attention to the development of children’s cooperation ability in the research class.According to the regular feedback from the cooperative teachers,it is understood that the cooperative ability of the children in this class continues to improve.After the action study,through the comparative analysis of the observation results,it is found that picture book teaching and related extension activities can effectively improve the cooperative ability of middle-class children,which significantly improve children’s willingness to cooperate,improve their cooperative cognition level,and strengthen their performance in cooperation.Through the organization,implementation,reflection and improvement of two rounds of action research,strategies for improving children’s cooperation ability were explored in the spiral development process: creating cooperation scenarios,choosing picture books reasonably,affirming children’s cooperation performance,setting a good example,focusing on step-by-step progress,and implementing home-based co-education. |
