| With the improvement of people’s living standards and the diversified development of tourism consumption demand,"sports tourism integration" has become an important way and trend for the development of sports and tourism industry.It is an important industry to promote county economic growth and build a new development pattern of "double cycle".Guangxi’s county area is rich in tourism resources and has a long history of national sports.It has the natural advantages of developing sports tourism industry.However,due to its late start,insufficient investment in sports tourism development,low integration level and development quality,the pulling effect on the county economy has not been highlighted.To measure the coupling and coordination level between sports and tourism industry,Finding out the factors and existing problems affecting the coupling of the two has always been the focus of sports tourism research.Studying the coupling and coordination level of sports and tourism industry in Guangxi sports tourism demonstration county has theoretical and practical significance for developing county sports tourism industry,realizing rural revitalization,improving residents’ income,shaping Guangxi characteristic sports tourism brand and promoting the development of national fitness.Based on the coupling and coordination theory,industry coordinated development theory and stakeholder theory,the evaluation index system and coupling and coordination degree model of sports industry and tourism industry are constructed by using the methods of literature,field investigation,interview,entropy and Delphi,This paper makes an empirical analysis and evaluation on the coupling and coordination level of sports industry and tourism industry in Guangxi sports tourism demonstration counties（including Yangshuo County,Wuxuan County,Shangsi County,Mashan County and Lingyun county）（hereinafter referred to as "demonstration counties"）from 2017 to 2021,and obtains the comprehensive development index of sports industry and tourism industry,the coupling and coordination level of sports and tourism industry in demonstration counties by combining quantitative analysis and qualitative analysis The specific data and development trend of the coupling coordination level,find out the factors affecting the coupling of the two industries and the problems existing in the coupling,and put forward constructive suggestions and Countermeasures for these problems.It is hoped that through empirical analysis of the coupling and coordination level of sports and tourism industry in Guangxi sports tourism demonstration counties,it can provide a useful reference for measuring and promoting the coupling and coordination level of sports and tourism industry in Guangxi and even the whole country.The main conclusions are as follows:（1）The coupling between sports industry and tourism industry has a natural foundation and technical guarantee.The expansion of industrial development boundary and the diversified development of consumer demand provide basic conditions for the coupling of the two.（2）According to the two rounds of questionnaire survey,it is concluded that the evaluation index system of county sports industry and tourism industry is composed of 4factor layers and 10 index layers respectively.The weight of each index is calculated by entropy method according to the information entropy of the index,which ensures the objectivity and scientificity of the evaluation index system.（3）From 2017 to 2019,the development level of coupling and coordination between sports and tourism industry in Guangxi sports tourism demonstration counties has increased year by year,but it has decreased significantly after 2020.It can be seen that the outbreak of COVID-19 has a huge impact on the sports tourism industry.On the whole,the level of coupling and coordination between sports and tourism industry in Guangxi sports tourism demonstration counties is not high,most of them are at the level of mild maladjustment and on the verge of maladjustment,and there is still a large space for development.（4）The coupling and coordination level of county sports and tourism industry depends on the development level and degree of the two industries.The coupling and coordination level of sports and tourism industry in Yangshuo County and Mashan County is higher than that in Wuxuan County,Shangsi county and Lingyun county.The main reason is that the development level of tourism industry in Yangshuo County and sports industry in Mashan County is higher than that in the other three counties,which plays an obvious role in promoting the other industry.（5）The external main factor affecting the coupling of sports and tourism industry in Guangxi sports tourism demonstration county is the outbreak of COVID-19 in early 2020.The internal main factor is the low development level of the county sports industry and tourism industry.（6）In order to solve the problem of low coupling level between sports and tourism industry in Guangxi sports tourism demonstration counties,this paper puts forward the promotion strategies of coordinated development of sports and tourism,such as department integration,development of characteristic products,policy guarantee,construction of infrastructure,attention to benefit distribution,and transformation of marketing methods,so as to promote the deeper and higher level integration of sports and tourism industry. |
