Research On The Evolution And Joint Effect Of Network Public Opinion From The Perspective Of Interactive Ritual Chain

The change of Internet technology brings technological convenience,but also changes our thinking and behavior patterns.In the social media environment,network public opinion continues to spread,superimpose,and focus,and increasingly presents the characteristics of fragmentation,fission,and circle formation,presenting a different public opinion picture from the past.When the power of the crowd is enough to promote the evolution of events,when the popularity of public opinion can lead to a traffic economy,and when rational cost-benefit models cannot explain emotional behaviors motivated by morality or value,Collins’ sociology of emotion theory provides a new direction for the study of online public opinion.This paper takes Sina Weibo as the main platform,takes the "28 years of wrong life" incident as a typical case,and based on the theoretical perspective of emotional sociology,analyzes the fission and stratification characteristics of online public opinion in the current communication environment from the perspective of situation and micro-behavior,to analyze the dynamic factors of the evolution of network public opinion and the joint effect of network public opinion in the social media environment.Use Houyi and Octopus collectors to crawl relevant online texts,and use Baidu Index,Sina Wechat,Yifang and other public opinion analysis platforms to collect event-related texts from March 2020 to October 2021,and analyze the spread of public opinion during the development process.The transformation of platforms,concerned groups,and public opinion focus,and grasp the overall progress and development of the event from a macro perspective;Crawl the popular Weibo content and comments of related topics on the Sina Weibo platform,obtain the evaluation,feelings,attitudes and other information of netizens on the event at different evolution stages of public opinion,grasp the microscopic context of the evolution of public opinion,and summarize through the analysis and description of the microscopic information of the event.Public opinion evolution characteristics;Combined with the theoretical framework of Collins’ interactive ritual chain,it explores the dynamic factors of public opinion in this event,and analyzes the joint effect of public opinion evolution in combination with the development of the event itself and social and cultural factors;Finally,it discusses how powerful Collins’ interactive ritual chain theory is as a theory of emotional dynamics in the current communication environment,and what kind of imagination we can use it to expand.
