| Since the reform and opening up,under the multiple effects of social structure transformation and market economy development,the phenomenon of rural teachers’ team construction is not going down,not staying and not high quality.These problems have aroused widespread concern from all walks of life.Throughout the existing research results,most of the discussions on the stability of rural teachers are based on the loss of teachers or teachers who have left their jobs,which are interpreted from the perspective of objectivity.The policy suggestions put forward according to the research findings are also a top-down position,and the main narrative of rural teachers is still lacking.Based on the perspective of life course theory,this paper outlines the life track of rural teachers,analyzes the change and continuation of rural teachers’ track,discusses how life events affect their retention process,and how rural teachers adapt to turning events,On this basis,this paper attempts to summarize the internal mechanism of rural teachers’ career choice.Then,this paper consists of four parts: the first part,Chapter 1 Introduction and Chapter 2 research design,mainly expounds the research background and research design of this paper;The second part,Chapter 3,outlines the life track of rural teachers according to the interview data,and summarizes the track characteristics,aiming to explore the role of track change and continuation on career choice;The third part,Chapter 4 and Chapter 5,focuses on the turning life events in the process of rural teachers’ trajectory change and rural teachers’ adaptive strategies.The treatment of the change is essentially the rationality of rural teachers’ behavior,which can be summarized as social,life and cultural logic.The fourth part,Chapter 6,conclusion and reflection.On the basis of the previous discussion,this paper summarizes and answers the research questions.In the process of rural teachers’ retention,life events and social events interweave and act on the change of track.Facing different changes and crises,rural teachers adopt different ways to adapt;And the individual social role changes with the age level,the social needs are different,so the behavior logic is biased in the process of change.Conclusively,it is found that the career choice of rural teachers is influenced by social structural factors,but the role of the main body can not be ignored.By analyzing the relationship between rural teachers’ life trajectory and career choice,the decision-making logic of rural teachers can be summarized as social logic,life logic and cultural logic,that is,system and economy provide social conditions for retention,social support provide capital supply for retention,and cultural assimilation provide spiritual support for retention.The action of rural teachers in different life stages is guided by different mechanisms.Finally,age in the life course theory has a certain policy significance.It is not only the change of life age,but also the change of social role and social demand,which is often ignored in policy,For rural teachers of different ages or in different life stages,different logical policies should be implemented to maximize the effectiveness of the policy. |
