The Impact Of Mobile Short Video Usage On The Socialization Of Youths In Liangshan Yi District

Mobile video attracts a large number of users as soon as it appears,because it meets the information receiving characteristics of the audience’s difficulty in concentrating and fragmented reading.Young people in Yi area have also become one of the loyal users of mobile short videos.The author found that the use intensity of mobile short videos by teenagers in Yi area is much higher than that of other media.In particular,short video content produced by Yi language is produced and consumed in large quantities in Yi area.Mobile short video has become an important tool for teenagers in Yi area to entertain,communicate and obtain educational resources,as well as an important companion in the growing environment.The short mobile video has a great influence on the study and life of teenagers in Yi area,the process of socialization and even the future growth direction of teenagers in Yi area.Therefore,it is of great theoretical and application value to study the influence of the use of mobile short videos on the socialization of teenagers in Yi area.In this study,taking the teenagers in Xide County,Liangshan Yi Autonomous Prefecture as an example,using the research methods of questionnaire survey,in-depth interview and participatory observation,we analyzed and studied the influence of the use of mobile short videos by teenagers in Yi area on the socialization of teenagers in Yi area.By means of questionnaire and qualitative research,this paper investigates the influence of mobile short videos on the socialization of teenagers in Liangshan Yi area,including interpersonal communication,life skills,learning ability,moral behavior,national and ethnic identity,etc.It is found that the use of mobile social networks makes the interpersonal communication of young people in Liangshan Yi area smoother and the national and ethnic identity stronger.At the same time,it also caused the decrease of their learning ability,life skills and behavior anomie.By analyzing the causes of the above social impacts,this paper puts forward corresponding countermeasures from the aspects of family,school and mobile short video platform.Specifically,as far as families are concerned,first of all,parents who go out should use mobile short videos to guide teenagers at home,and deepen their emotional connection with teenagers at home by means of online interaction;Secondly,family members need to create a good media use environment,lead by example and use mobile short videos reasonably.As far as schools are concerned,first,strengthen the media literacy education of Yi youth,and improve their ability to learn by using mobile short videos;The second is to add the course of making mobile short videos,to understand its propagation path,and to avoid blind trust and imitation of video content.As far as the mobile short video platform is concerned,first,mobilize Yi users to participate in the management of mobile short video content,so that high-quality video content can reach Yi youth;Second,give full play to the platform’s powerful activity operation capability,and call on local online celebrity and users to actively cooperate to promote offline socialization;Third,the mainstream media and platforms work together to strengthen the production of cultural content,at the same time,improve the mass media literacy,and promote the benign development of youth socialization in Liangshan Yi area.
