Teachers are the specific undertakers of education and teaching activities,and they are also a key factor in improving the quality of education and teaching.The development of teacher education professional certification is an important guarantee for improving the quality of teachers.The United States has rich experience in teacher education professional certification reform and has formed a relatively mature professional certification system.In-depth study of its teacher education professional certification standards can provide useful enlightenment and reference for my country’s teacher education professional certification reform and teacher professional development.The thesis is based on a brief review of the development of American teacher education certification agencies,and analyzes the influence of multiculturalism,humanism,and formative evaluation theories on the establishment of the American Teacher Training Quality Improvement Committee(hereinafter referred to as AAQEP),combined with the current United States The status quo of teacher education certification,understand the doubts and criticisms of current certification agencies from all walks of life,analyze AAQEP’s own advantages,and reveal the realistic basis for the establishment of AAQEP.The author uses the literature method,comparative method,and case method to introduce the AAQEP certification objectives,certification principles,certification content,and certification procedures in detail,and summarizes the characteristics,advantages and disadvantages of the AAQEP certification standards.Through in-depth research and interpretation,I found the AAQEP certification standard,emphasized the level of certification goals,adhered to the basic goals focusing on the candidate’s professional performance and project practice quality,and took the candidate’s professional competence development and project participation as the core of the self Set goals;make overall plans in terms of certification principles,attach importance to cooperation and innovation,continuity and comprehensiveness,consistency and efficiency;highlight diversity in certification content,focusing on the level of professional performance of teacher candidates and teacher candidates The development of professional competence,the implementation quality of the training project,and the participation of the training project in the education system are certified;the flexibility of the certification process is emphasized,and the quality assurance report submitted by the participating organizations in the early stage of certification is followed by the quality audit The committee conducts a combination of online and offline evaluation and review,and the post-certification review committee announces the certification decision and regularly updates the certification process of related data.Combined with the implementation of the AAQEP certification standard in Columbia University Teachers College and other institutions,it has been found that it has outstanding advantages in attracting teacher education and training institutions to participate in certification,improving the satisfaction of employer schools,and promoting the professional development of teacher education.But on the other hand,There are also shortcomings such as the low degree of full participation of the certification assessment subject and the difficulty of promoting the high-quality experience of the training institution."Taking stones from other mountains to attack jade",according to the characteristics,advantages and disadvantages of the AAQEP certification standard,combined with the current domestic situation,when my country is carrying out teacher education professional certification reform,we must pay attention to scientific positioning and set clear certification goals.Optimize the layout and adhere to the certification principles tailored to local conditions;promote collaboration and enrich the specific content of professional certification;standardize procedures to form a dynamic and effective activity mechanism;government-led,establish a relatively independent certification body.
