Michel Foucault(1926-1984)France's philosopher, ideologist and historian, is to be generally acknowledged as 20th France's Friedrich Wilhelm Nietzsche, and the most important ideologist after Jean Paul Sartre. His thought and social behavior concern and counter reality, thoroughly penetrate and clear up the center of western culture conventions according to marginal and non-mainstream. Foucault find that education or school is considered as the quite carrier of power/knowledge by Genealogy, meanwhile, think that school is treated as disciplinary institution (prison) in the space extension zone, and as discipline techniques and effective means to display their field.Foucault's thought is strange, behavior eccentric, and have the Nietzsche critical spirit-revaluation of all values. Although Foucault rarely explicitly discussed education and school education, or specifically wrote books for education, education has only scattered in his writings and conversations, but its also just as he discusses the example of power/knowledge, discipline and punishment, and support the core issues. Even so, Foucault is considered as one of the most influential post-modernist in education. The reason, we believe that the key lies in his most influential book, as well as Michel Foucault called my first book-Discipline and Punish.On Discipline and Punish, education is not the main event on the expositions in this book, and the length is not too great, however, as Foucault's other works concerned, covered in this book ratio and the amount of education can be said to be the largest and most concentrated. Therefore, if you want to excellently understand Foucault's educational thought as well as its influence and inspiration on theory research on educational theory, you must adopt and study this book, and as it to be important text.The paper, which is based on Foucault's self educational experience and the background of French society at that time, aims to analysis the Genealogy in the ways of study in Discipline and Punish, the development of Foucault's thought and the social activities,as well as encircles some core concepts which are discipline and punish, discipline and punish techniques, power and knowledge, panopticism to analysis and understand how school education is disciplined and punished by delicate power technology, thus, interprets Discipline and Punish in education, sums up and explains the profound disciplinary educational thought, reviews its value and influence as well.
