Anxiety is one of the psychological problems commonly plaguing college students.For college students approaching graduation,the solution of career anxiety is an important part of college students’ mental health education.At present,college graduates are facing great pressure and challenges in employment.Therefore,strengthening the psychological analysis of their anxiety before choosing a career will not only help to improve their psychological quality,but also help to enhance their own ability and promote social development and progress.Vocational maturity means that individuals master relevant employment information suitable for their career development stage,and form some psychological preparation for their job-hunting process on this basis.Social support is one of the important factors for individuals to obtain psychological energy to relieve stress.However,it is found that few studies have taken social support and vocational maturity as influencing factors of job choice anxiety.This study takes social support and vocational maturity as the entry point to explore its influence on college students’ career anxiety,and then conducts intervention research on the problem of career anxiety.From the perspective of college students,this study used the Social Support Rating Scale,the Career Maturity Scale for College Students,and the Career Selection Anxiety Scale for College Graduates to study the current situation of college students’ social support level,career maturity,and career selection anxiety,as well as the relationship between them.Based on the relationship study,a quasi experimental design using group counseling was conducted to intervene in the social support and professional maturity of college students.After the intervention,quantitative information and quality assurance materials were collected and analyzed,and the following research results were obtained:(1)The development status of college students’ social support level,career maturity,and career anxiety is as follows:College students’ social support is above the middle level,and there are significant differences in gender,ethnicity,family structure,whether they are only children,birthplace,and whether they serve as class leaders;College students’ professional maturity is at a low level,and there are significant differences in gender,family structure,student origin,and whether they serve as class leaders;College students’ career anxiety is on the high side,and there are significant differences in gender,student origin,and whether they serve as class leaders.(2)There is a significant correlation between college students’ social support,career maturity,and career anxiety.Career maturity partially mediates social support and career anxiety.(3)Using group counseling methods to intervene in college students’ social support and career maturity,the intervention research has a good effect in terms of timeliness and sustainability. |
