As a world badminton power,China’s national badminton team has won world-class championships and Olympic gold medals many times.The development of China’s badminton has promoted the progress of global badminton.The prosperity of national competitive badminton has promoted the rapid rise of public badminton,and also had a profound impact on contemporary young college students.Badminton is favoured by college students.Badminton courses offered by private undergraduate colleges and universities have become the norm.More and more college students have a strong interest in badminton,and the teaching of badminton has become one of the hottest projects in physical education teaching in colleges and universities.However,in the badminton teaching of private undergraduate colleges and universities,the comprehensive role of various factors has led to some problems in badminton teaching in private undergraduate colleges and universities.Using literature method,questionnaire survey method,expert interview method,mathematics and science statistics method and other research methods,this paper takes the current situation of badminton teaching in 10 private undergraduate colleges and universities in Harbin as the research object,and investigates and analyses the participation of students,the number and professionalism of teachers,the setting of teaching goals,the selection and arrangement of teaching content,the status of teaching environment and the current situation of teaching evaluation.The following conclusions were reached:(1)College students from undergraduate colleges and universities in Harbin have a strong interest in badminton and realise the physical benefits brought by badminton,but the daily participation is not enough,the enthusiasm to participate in badminton after class is not high,and the participation time is relatively short.(2)Badminton teachers in Harbin Citizen Undergraduate Colleges and universities are mainly with master’s degrees,and most of them are associate professors.However,the number of teachers is insufficient,the professionalism is insufficient,there are few special badminton teachers,and there is a great shortage of young teachers.There are fewer opportunities for training and further training during the in-service period,and insufficient opportunities for teachers to improve.(3)Harbin citizens run badminton teaching in undergraduate colleges and universities with the goal of stimulating students’ interest in badminton and promoting physical and mental health,but the practical teaching of teachers is not in place.Moreover,the teaching content focusses on practice over theory,pays attention to basic technology,and has less advanced,difficult technology and theoretical knowledge arrangement.Teaching methods are traditional,and the innovative ideas and experiments of a few teachers have not been popularised and implemented.(4)The humanities teaching environment of undergraduate colleges and universities run by Harbin is relatively good.The teaching atmosphere,teacher-student interaction and teacher-student relationship all present a harmonious and good picture.However,in the material teaching environment,the provision of badminton equipment is insufficient,and the number of badminton courts is small,which is difficult to meet the practice needs of students,which restricts badminton teaching.(5)Students of undergraduate colleges and universities run by Harbin are relatively satisfied with the teaching attitude and teaching methods of teachers,but in the teaching evaluation,there are shortcomings of single assessment content,fixed assessment methods,strong subjectivity of teachers,insufficient reflection of students’ progress and efforts,and unable to comprehensively evaluate students. |
