Cooperative Performance And Brain Mechanisms In Individual And Team Sports Athletes:an Study Of FNIRS Hyperscanning | | Posted on:2022-12-20 | Degree:Master | Type:Thesis | | Country:China | Candidate:J Ma | Full Text:PDF | | GTID:2507306749488744 | Subject:Journalism and Media | | Abstract/Summary: | PDF Full Text Request | | Social interaction is an indispensable behavior in interpersonal communication,and cooperative behavior is one of the most common behaviors in social interaction.The study found that there is a coupling phenomenon between brains in social interaction,indicating that there is obvious brain synchronization between different individuals in cooperation.Sports activities are one of the main social interaction behaviors of people.Sports can exert a dominant influence on people’s behavior and brain.More and more evidence shows that team sports are beneficial to interpersonal cooperation.Therefore,it is of great significance to explore cooperative behavior from the perspective of sport.However,existing studies have some shortcomings: there are few analyses on the influence of team sports on individual cooperative behavior,and there is a lack of research on the brain mechanism of sports events on cooperative behavior.The development of hyperscanning technology has enriched the research means of multi-person interaction and can better study the synchronization in cooperative behavior.In this study,2(sports event type: individual type,team type)×2(task type: cooperative button task,competitive button task)two-factor mixed experiment was adopted.Based on f NIRS technology,the cooperative behavior and its brain mechanism of athletes in the same individual and team sports were studied.Fifty-two male college students from professional sports colleges were selected as subjects,all of whom were level ii athletes or above,and were divided into individual and team sports events(13 pairs for each).The event types belonged to the same field confrontation sports group.The behavioral performance and brain synchronization of each group were analyzed on cooperative tasks.The results are as follows: 1)Questionnaire results: There is no cooperative and competitive personality among the individual/group subjects,and there is no significant difference in the degree of intimate relationship;2)Behavioral results: There were significant differences in the operation of different types of tasks,and the response time of individual and team athletes in cooperative tasks was longer;Compared with individual project,team sports subjects had better performance in cooperative behavior,higher cooperation rate and shorter average response time.3)f NIRS results: There were significant differences in the activation of brain regions in individual/team project conditions;Interbrain synchronization occurred in the right prefrontal region(channel 13)under cooperative task,and the rate of cooperation was positively correlated with interbrain coherence.Conclusions: the study found that individuals with different sports experiences showed behavioral differences in cooperative task performance and showed better cooperative behavior performance;athletes responded longer in cooperative tasks than competitive tasks.When performing cooperative behavior,individuals develop right prefrontal brain region activation,and the individual interbrain activity synchronization is significantly enhanced. | | Keywords/Search Tags: | team sports, athletes, cooperation, interpersonal neural synchronization, fNIRS hyperscanning | PDF Full Text Request | Related items |
