The process of teaching and learning is the process of information exchange between teachers and students. In the teaching process, teachers often use different teaching methods for teaching work. There are two main methods:(1)taught by teachers;(2)demonstration by teachers. There is a debate in the study of teaching methods as to which way the two sides can better understand each other.Previous studies on teacher-student interactions were mostly limited to human-computer interactions, and on the other hand, there were few studies on Chinese localization. With the development of near-infrared ultra-scanning technology, the simultaneous acquisition and analysis of neural information of multiple subjects was achieved, which provided a new way to explore the neural mechanism of brain interaction in the real teacher-student interaction environment. At this time, the range of body motion is small,so it is suitable for data analysis of near-infrared brain imaging. Therefore, this research uses near-infrared hyperscanning technology.Teachers teach students writing brush strokes and Chinese characters through two methods:teaching and demonstration teaching. They explore which teaching method has a higher level of brain activation.Inter-brain synchronization is stronger. In addition, with the gradual popularity of video teaching, whether it is video teaching or traditional face-to-face teaching in the context of student learning is good, there is also controversy in teaching research. Therefore, this study also explores in which situations the learning effect is better. This study not only selects topics that are closely related to learning life, but also provides evidence from brain-to-brain synchronization on which teaching methods are more helpful for teachers and students to understand each other. In Experiment 1,58 subjects(1 teacher,57 students)were selected to teach basic strokes and simple Chinese characters through video teaching and face-to-face teaching. In Experiment 2,58 subjects were selected to use video teaching and face-to-face teaching for demonstration of basic strokes and simple Chinese characters. In Experiment 3,28subjects(1 teacher,27 students)were selected to teach face-to-face strokes and simple Chinese characters and demonstrate teaching in a face-to-face manner.Research indicators are the degree of activation of brain regions, synchronic data and information flow.Concluded as follow:First, students' brain activation is higher in face-to-face teaching than in video teaching, both in teaching and presentation conditions.Secondly,in calligraphy teaching tasks, there is significant brain-to-brain synchronization between teachers and students, and the level of brain-to-brain synchronization is higher in demonstration teaching than in teaching.Third, whether it is teaching or demonstration teaching, the direction of information flow in interpersonal brain synchronization is that the teacher guides the students.
