The Learning and Development Guide for children aged 3-6 clearly stipulates that we should focus on the development of children’s approaches to learning, and integrate the training requirements into all objectives. The guiding points for kindergarten entrance preparation education(hereinafter referred to as the "points")proposes to be well prepared for learning, cultivate good qualities such as persistence, concentration and planning, and lay the foundation for children to enter primary school. At the same time,it also refers to the cultivation of curiosity and inquiry spirit. At present,China attaches importance to the development of campus football, and the learning method in the stage of preschool education is different from that in the stage of compulsory education. Therefore, this study takes football games as the carrier to explore the strategies for using football games to cultivate the approaches to learning of senior kindergarten children.Firstly, this study uses the methods of interview and observation to understand the current situation of teachers using football games to cultivate children’s approaches to learning. The study found that teachers have a vague understanding of the concept and dimension of approaches to learning, weak awareness of cultivation and single training means. When teachers use football games to cultivate children’s approaches to learning, they are limited by safety problems and it is difficult to teach students according to their aptitude. Therefore, this study designs a set of football game schemes suitable for cultivating the approaches to learning of senior kindergarten children through action research, and summarizes the corresponding teacher guidance strategies. The subjects selected a senior kindergarten, class A,as the experimental class for three months of action research, and another class B as the control class, with 15 male and 15 female students in each class.Action research consists of three stages. In each stage, teachers design games of control, transmission and competition for children to play.In the process, the researchers mainly use the observation method to record the children’s game process, and score each child’s approaches to learning according to the table of operation definition before and after the action research.Based on the observation and evaluation scale for children’s approaches to learning aged 3-6 prepared by Zhao Jing and Wang Xihai and the observation and evaluation table for children’s approaches to learning by Wang Baohua and Feng Xiaoxia, and referring to some preschool education policies, researcher finally abstracts six approaches to learning for the operation definition table: curiosity and interest, initiative, persistence and concentration, independence, imagination and creativity, reflection and interpretation ability. The following conclusions are drawn through action research: First, football games have a positive impact on the approaches to learning of senior kindergarten children;Second, teachers’ guidance strategies play an important role in the development of children’s approaches to learning;Third, cooperative games are conducive to the development of children’s approaches to learning. Finally,in order to cultivate children’s approaches to learning preferably in football games, this study puts forward the following suggestions: Teachers should improve their theoretical literacy and master the policy requirements and children’s characteristics;Build a high-quality interactive football game model, allow multiple forms of interaction to coexist, and improve the effectiveness of interaction;Establish the concept of win-win cooperation in football games, encourage children to cooperate to complete the game and express their cooperation needs;Design dynamic football game goals and pay attention to children’s overall development and individual differences;Adhere to children as the main body, flexible inspiration and appropriate intervention;Create a free game atmosphere and provide an appropriate amount of low structured game materials to ensure the openness of the game;Form a closed loop of "plan summary" football game review, and pay attention to children’s game planning ability and summary ability.
