Research On Role Model Education For College Students In The New Era

Role models have immeasurable effects on the formation of personal qualities,moral development and personality integrity,and are excellent tutors to guide the way forward and take a good journey in life.Education by role model,which is the core value carrier of vivid image,is an effective way to enhance the effect of ideological and political education of college students.Under the new historical orientation of the new era,young college students bear a more difficult historical responsibility and mission of the times,educating and guiding the majority of students to consciously benchmark the noble thoughts,excellent qualities and advanced behaviors of exemplary models,independently constructing a model learning and emulation system from the inside out,and playing the real power of exemplary characters in guiding,inspiring,encouraging and shaping people,which is not only the inherent need to promote the college students’ virtue It is also a key link to promote the task of establishing moral education in colleges and universities,and a source of motivation for college students to become vivid interpreters and practitioners of Chinese spirit.This paper firstly outlines the theories related to role model education for college students in the new era,and lays a certain theoretical foundation for the study.Secondly,relying on literature research and online questionnaire survey,we analyze the current situation of role model education for college students and sort out the achievements of role model education,which are mainly reflected in the following: the importance of role model education in colleges and universities,the acceptance of role models by college students,the recognition of role model spirit and the recognition of value of role models have all been improved.It is more important to see that in the process of role model education,some college students are facing the real difficulties of insufficient consciousness to practice role model spirit,lack of relevance and hierarchy in the selection of role model image,emphasis on theory but not practice in the education method,and insufficient nurturing atmosphere.After analyzing the deep-rooted reasons behind the problems,we will make the right remedy and actively explore four construction paths to strengthen the self-education of college students’ role models,improve the scientificity of the selection process of role models,improve the ways and methods of role model education,and create a vibrant nurturing environment,so as to do our best to enhance the effectiveness of role model education for college students in the new era from the practical level.
