Research On The Relationship And Intervention Between Counselor’s Psychological Counseling Ability And Mental Health

Counselors are the backbone of the ideological and political education of college students.As the first-line staff in the daily management of college students,the mental health of counselors has an important influence on the formation of college students’ psychological quality,and is related to the final results of college ideological and political education.Psychological counseling is an important task for counselors to help students,solve a series of problems encountered by students in the process of growing up,stimulate students’ development potential,and promote the development and improvement of students’ personality.As one of the main duties of counselors,Its importance has become increasingly prominent,and the level of psychological counseling ability affects the final results of the work.Reality observations have found that counselors with high psychological counseling ability are handy in dealing with student emergencies,have more adjustment methods and coping strategies when they are facing difficulties,and can maintain a good level of mental health.Therefore,psychological counseling ability can not only help students solve psychological problems and promote their healthy growth,but also may be related to their own mental health.At present,no one has studied the relationship between the two.This study first conducted a questionnaire survey on the psychological counseling ability and mental health status of 275 counselors,and explored the relationship between the two.Secondly,to improve the counselor’s psychological counseling ability,a period of 6 times,each 90 minutes of positive ecological orientation network psychological sitcom group counseling,12 people in the experimental group,12 people in the control group,analysis of the counselor’s psychological counseling ability,competency characteristics and psychology before and after the intervention Changes in health.According to the research,the following conclusions are obtained:(1)The mental health of counselors is low.(2)The anxiety level of counselors who have won the Excellent Counselor Award is significantly higher than that of those who have not,and their depression scores are also higher;the depression and anxiety levels of counselors who have worked for a long time are higher than those who have worked for a short period of time.e;(3)The psychological counseling ability of counselors who have won the award of outstanding counselors and have long working years is significantly higher than that of those who have not won the award and have short working years.(4)The counselor’s psychological counseling ability is significantly negatively correlated with depression,but not significantly correlated with anxiety.(5)Active ecologically oriented network group psychological sitcom group counseling can significantly improve the counselor ’ s psychological counseling ability,and can also improve the self-concept,motivation,knowledge and personal characteristics of engaging in psychological counseling work,and improve the individual’s psychological counseling work as a whole.Network psychological melodrama group counseling is an effective form of coaching ability training,but the network group counseling has no effect on the individual’s mental health.
