Research Purposes: This study used group biofeedback instrument to conduct biofeedback training for bocce players, and used the scores of pre-game anxiety scale and heart rate variability as monitoring and evaluation indexes, according to the feedback information, this paper analyzes the change and trend of athletes pre-competition anxiety under the long-term biofeedback training, and explores the effect of Group biofeedback training on the pre-competition anxiety and performance of bocce players.Research Methods: Twenty-four ground throwers were selected as the subjects and randomly divided into the experimental group and the control group, with 12 people in each group. The experiment is divided into three stages: the early measurement time is before the first week of training, the middle measurement time is after the end of the fourth week of training, and the late measurement time is after the end of the eighth week of training. Each measurement time point is selected before the ground throwing team performance test match. At the end of each session, the Pre-competition Mood Inventory-T was used for testing and heart rate variability data were collected. The time domain indexes of heart rate variability(RMSSD,SDNN,PNN50)were selected as experimental indexes.Frequency domain indicators TP,VLF,LF,HF,LF/HF;Total score and scores of each dimension of Pre-competition Sentiment Inventor-T;Athletes’ performance.Research Results:1.The time-domain indexes RMSSD,SDNN and PNN50 in the experimental group were significantly higher than those in the earlier period(P<0.01,P<0.05).The mean value in the later period was higher than that in the middle period, and there was a very significant difference(P<0.01),while the time domain indexes in the control group did not show significant changes at the first, middle and last three time points. The results showed that after 8 weeks of group biofeedback training, the athletes’ vagal nerve tone was enhanced, the activity level of autonomic nervous system was increased, and heart rate variability was increased.2.The mean values of TP and HF in the frequency domain of the experimental group were significantly higher than those in the early stage(P<0.01,P<0.05).The mean value of the later stage was higher than that of the middle stage, and there was a significant difference(P<0.01),which indicated that the activity of the athletes’ autonomic nervous system was enhanced, heart rate variability was increased, the athletes’ vagal nerve tone was increased, and the activity of the vagus nerve was increased. The mean value of frequency domain index LF in the middle period decreased compared with the early period, and increased compared with the middle period in the late period, showing a fluctuating downward trend on the whole, which represents that the dual dominance ability of athletes’ autonomic nervous system has been enhanced, and psychological stability has been improved to a certain extent. The mean values of frequency domain indexes VLF and LF/HF decreased gradually in the early, middle and late periods, which respectively represented that the sympathetic nerve activity of athletes was inhibited to some extent, the balance of sympathetic nerve and parasympathetic nerve was enhanced, and the psychological stability was improved. However,in the control group, there was no significant change in the frequency domain indexes at the first, middle and last three time points.3.In the experimental group, the mean scores of trait confidence in the pre-competition emotional scale were significantly higher in the late period than in the early period(P<0.01,P<0.05),indicating that the trait confidence level of athletes was improved and their self-confidence was enhanced.Individual failure trait anxiety, social expectation, physical trait anxiety and trait anxiety scores mean reduced relatively early, late significant differences(p< 0.01,p< 0.05),representing the world’s athletes failed individual, social expectation and physical trait anxiety, reduce bad emotions, athletes overall anxiety ease, stabilized the pre-match emotion,Reduces pre-race anxiety levels. However,in the control group, there were no significant changes in the pre-competition emotion subscales and total scores at the first, middle and last three time points.4.The athletic performance of the experimental group was significantly higher in the late stage than in the early stage(P<0.05),indicating that group biofeedback training can improve the athletic performance of athletes. However, the performance indicators of the control group showed no significant change at the first, middle and last three time points.Research Conclusions:1.After Group biofeedback training, the mean values of RMSSD,SDNN and PNN50,TP and HF,LF,VLF and LF/HF were increased, and the mean values of LF,VLF and LF/HF were decreased, sympathetic nervous system represents the increase in heart rate variability and balance between sympathetic nervous system and parasympathetic nervous system, indicating that group biofeedback training can improve athletes ability of self regulation and psychological stability to a certain extent.2.The pre-competition anxiety level of athletes decreases with the deepening of the experimental process and reaches a stable state, which shows that the group biofeedback training can effectively alleviate the pre-competition anxiety of athletes and play a positive role in the pre-competition state of athletes.3.Group biofeedback training can improve athletes performance, increase heart rate variability and reduce pre-competition anxiety.Sticking to group biofeedback training can improve athletes performance and improve their performance.
