| The school-based curriculum for children’s drama refers to the curriculum with drama as the main education medium,with the school selecting independently,on the basis of the curriculum resources inside and outside the school,the relevant teaching contents of children’s drama education,and carrying out the curriculum with weekly fixed school-based curriculum time to develop students’ comprehensive ability,emotional and volitional quality on a certain scale.By fully integrating various related disciplines and focusing on game,interest and knowledge,the curriculum is both novel and unique,transforming the traditional teaching model and therefore drawing wide attention from the Chinese educational circle.The school-based curriculum for children’s drama is provided to improve the students’ aesthetic ability and innovative ability,enhance the overall cultural connotation of the campus and the sense of responsibility and mission of the teachers and students,strengthen the cohesion of the campus,enable the children to accept the edification of the Chinese excellent traditional culture through osmosis and entertainment,and shape their healthy personality so that a solid foundation can be laid to fully promote quality education and reforms of elementary education.Based on Skilbeck ’ s theory,Rousseau’s natural education theory and Dewey’s education essentialism,this study investigates the school-based curriculum for children’s drama in Primary School S in Fuqing City through literature research,investigation,and observation,analyzes the existing problems in a comprehensive manner,and proposes some corresponding promotion strategies from the perspectives of curriculum integration,teachers and students,and family-school communication.This paper is closely related to the teaching practice,focusing on returning to nature and teaching students in accordance with their aptitude.As it is highly operable and easy to arouse the interest of other educators,it is hoped that some valuable reference may be offered for the comprehensive development of school-based curriculum for children’s drama. |
