Children 5-6 Years Of Age Drama Activities Study

This thesis is a research about children's drama activity, who is between the age of 5 to 6.The dissertation carefully expounds the frames and process of children's drama activity, based on abundance of demonstration data which is obtained through observation and dialogue.The process of children's drama activity consists of three parts, choosing role, playing, and comment. Before activity, children choose their roles, what they concern is the sex of role, the morality of role, and whether they are familiar with role's life. After choosing role, they begin to play ,during the process, it's found out that children of this age, to some degree, can understand and use some drama elements, including actor, dramatist, guide, stage, audience, prop, and make up. Besides, Children are not only interested in the original story, but also create some plot of their own. They mainly use action and language to complete the playing, sometimes use prop, and cooperation commences. After playing, children discuss two aspects, includes their feelings during playing and suggestion on how to play better. Through these discussions, children express their interests and knowledge about drama activity.In the end, the researcher gives some suggestion on the Children's drama Education, such as put emphasis on drama appreciation, provide comfortable environment for children, and encourage children to engage in role playing.
