In recent years, various extramural educations were seen by parents. In addition to students of colleges and universities, junior and senior high schools, and elementary schools, more and more children in the age group of kindergarten participated in extramural education.According to the theory of cognitive development of children, the focus of education in the stage of young children is the development of learning habits of children.Does the experience of participating in extramural education affect the learning habits of young children? What are the advantages and disadvantages? We hope to rationally reconsider and discuss the more and more popular extramural education of young children in recent years by exploring these problems in this study. To solve above problems,in this study,we first started from the perspective of the theory of cognitive development of children, considered Kindergarten J and Kindergarten W in District M of Shanghai as typical samples, and surveyed by questionnaire to comprehensively understand and master the overall conditions and characteristics of the participation in extramural education by young children(including the number of children participating in extramural education and type, area, duration, frequency, and other aspects of extramural education). Thus,we used statistical methods such as descriptive statistics,chi-square analysis, and univariate ANOVA to analyze the impact of the experience of extramural education on learning habits of young children from the aspects of listening habit, question asking habit, and focusing and insisting habit. Finally, corresponding countermeasures and suggestions were given on this basis. We have the following findings in the study.1.The number of children participating in extramural education in the sample kindergartens has exceeded that of children not participating in extramural education. There was no significant difference between boys and girls. The percentage of firstborn young children participating in extramural education was significantly higher than that of the second child and above. The percentage of young children in the middle class and top class in the kindergarten was significantly higher than that of young children in the junior class.2.Overall,the impact of "whether young children participated in extramural education" on learning habits was not significant.3.Seen from the type of extramural education participated by young children, participation in subject and quality extramural education by young children did not have significant impact on listening habit, question asking habit, and focusing and insisting habit.4.Seen from the field of extramural education participated by young children, the experience of participating in extramural education in the field of society had negative impact on listening habit and focusing and insisting habit. The experience of participating in extramural education in the field of health had positive impact on the question asking habit.5.Seen from the duration of extramural education participated by young children, the above fields of extramural education had no significant impact on listening habit, question asking habit, and focusing and insisting habit of young children.6.Seen from the frequency of extramural education participated by young children, the frequency of extramural education participated in the field of health had significant impact on listening habit. The listening habit of young children participating in extramural education in the field of health twice a week was significantly better than those only participating in extramural education in this field once a week.7.The learning state of young children participating in extramural education had different development trends. Some of them had higher listening ability and became more focused. Some of them acquired bad listening and focusing habits. Some of them had no obvious change.According to above research findings, this paper tries to explore the reasons through the survey on teachers. In the survey,it was found that most teachers believed that the experience of extramural education had different impacts on the learning habits of young children depending on the consistency of extramural education and interests of young children and connection between extramural education and school education. We have mastered the impact of the experience of extramural education on learning habits of young children and its reasons. On this basis,in this study, finally, the following suggestions were given.1.Parents should rationally treat extramural education and should not blindly pursue it.The focus should be the respect for and cultivation of interests of children.2.Kindergartens should advocate the parents-child sport program and give targeted home and kindergarten guidance.3.We should establish and improve the cooperative education of kindergarten, family, and society as soon as possible and develop the concept and mechanism of school and extramural education of children.
