Ideological and political theory course(simply referred to as “ideological and political courses” in the following contents)is the key course to implement the task of moral education.Its starting point and foothold are to cultivate socialist builders and successors.The exertion of college students’ subjectivity is directly related to the teaching effectiveness of this course,and also related to the realization of its educational goal.At present,the new media has a comprehensive impact on the teaching environment of this course.While realizing the innovation of teaching technology,it also changes the way of learning and information acquisition of contemporary college students.Therefore,it is of great importance to understand the play of college students’ subjectivity in the teaching of this course under the new media environment and explore effective measures to enhance college students’ subjectivity in order to promote the reform of Ideological and political teaching.This research is based on Marx’s thought of human subjectivity and constructivism theory,and selects 577 college students from Huazhong Agricultural University as the research objects,this study analyzes the current situation,existing problems and related influencing factors of college students’ subjectivity under the new media environment by using different research programs and plans such as questionnaire survey and individual case interview,and finally puts forward relevant measures for improving college students’ subjectivity.The results show that the subjectivity of college students in the ideological and political teaching under the new media environment is at a medium level.After further analysis,it is found that the subjectivity of creativity level is the highest,followed by the autonomy level,and the subjectivity of the initiative level is the lowest.In addition,there are certain differences in gender in the development of college students’ subjectivity.Based on the questionnaire survey,combined with interviews and literature,this study sorted out the factors that influence the subjectivity of college students in the teaching of this courses under the new media environment.It mainly includes the following four aspects: at the national level,the main performance is that the legal construction in the field of new media is not perfect,and the integration of this courses is relatively backward;at the social level,it is mainly manifested in the bondage of traditional ideas and the impact of the characteristics of the new media environment itself;at the school level,there are some differences between the teaching ideas,teaching contents and teaching methods of this course and the personalized needs of college students;at the individual level,college students’ subjective consciousness,learning motivation and media literacy in the ideological and political teaching under the new media environment will affect their subjectivity.Accordingly,this study puts forward some suggestions to improve the subjectivity of college students in the ideological and political teaching under the new media environment.Firstly,at the national level.To provide external support for college students in improving the legal supervision in the field of new media and speeding up the pace of the integration of ideological and political courses.It enables college students to exert their subjectivity in ideological and political learning activities under the environment of new media.Secondly,on the social level.The subjectivity status of college students should be valued by the society and family.Society and family should create a good social atmosphere for college students to exert their subjectivity.In addition,new media platforms and their users should fulfill their social responsibilities and build a good media ecology for college students.Thirdly,at the school level,it provides ways for college students to play their subjectivity from establishing new teaching concepts,optimizing the supply of Ideological and political course content,and enriching innovative teaching methods.Fourth,at the individual level,they should strengthen their own subjective consciousness,stimulate learning motivation and strengthen media literacy education to promote the subjectivity of themselves.
