| Children leave school earlier than parents get off work,causing the time vacancy for parent unable to pick up and take care of children.The obsession is called The "3:30 problem",which reflects the contradiction between educational needs and economic development.The "after-school service" is aimed at the "3:30 problem",providing the delayed service for students in need after normal school hours.As an effective expansion and necessary supplement of classroom teaching,after-school service can alleviate a series of issues caused by the "3:30problem",contribute to achieving comprehensive education,enhance social equity to a certain extent,implement educational reform,and promote the the construction of public service system after school,which reveals positive practical significance.The study takes an example of urban primary schools in Zhu zhou through questionnaire surveys and interviews to investigate the current situation of after-school service.It is found that teachers and students have widespread participation,and the effect is gradually recognized by parents.After-school service has normalized the management and promoted the development of school characteristics to a certain extent.Nevertheless,there are also problems such as the lack of comprehensive education functions,the weak willingness of teachers to actively serve,the lack of curriculum resources,the lack of awareness of parents’ responsibility,and the increase of school safety risk.There are various reasons lead to the mentioned problems,which are mainly manifested as deviations in concept,inadequate policy publicity,lack of specific institutional arrangement and guarantee for resource acquisition,imperfect constraint and accountability mechanism,and the deficiency in incentive mechanism.To promote the sustainable development of after-school service,it is necessary to build and improve a diversified cooperation system in which schools acting as the main body,government acting as the leading role,and society taking extensive participation.To be more specific,the school must assume the main responsibility effectively,fully mobilize the enthusiasm of teachers,expand curriculum resources,enrich the content and form of after-school service,strengthen teacher training,and improve management of after-school service;Teachers must improve service capabilities and enhance the understanding of policy requirements;The government should give full play to its leading and coordinating role,improve policy guideline,strengthen the publicity and guidance of multiple subjects participation of after-school service,establish and improve accident responsibility sharing mechanism,funding guarantee and operation system,and after-school service evaluation mechanism;Parents should strengthen responsibility sharing awareness,and fortify information exchange and supervision;Society should arouse active participation in after-school service.In this way,multiple subjects can be united to bring the full play of after-school service. |
