With the introduction of the "Implementation Opinions on Deepening the Reform of the Examination System" and the "Overall Plan for Promoting World Top-Class Universities and Discipline Construction" and the determination of the list of "double-first class universities",how to establish an effective talent selection mechanism has become the core issue of the selection and training talents.After the list of" Double First-Class universities" was finalized,how to build a first-class university has become the focus point of academic circles.Experts have pointed out that first-class universities need first-class undergraduate courses,First-class undergraduate education is the core of a first-class university.One of the main characteristics of first-class undergraduate education is the input side,which is student admission.The first-class undergraduate students of first-class universities are the most advanced and highly selective students.American higher education is at the forefront of the world,with the most famous first-class universities in the world.Therefore,the admission system for undergraduate admissions in the top universities in the United States is very representative.Studying its undergraduate admissions system can be a useful advice to reform the independent enrollment system for double-first class universities in China.This article through five chapters to study the admission system of undergraduate admissions in the top universities in the United States.The first chapter is the introduction,puts forward the research into Realistic background,through the analysis of domestic and foreign literature and research results,explore the research space and put forward the research design of this paper.The research design includes the research questions,contents,methods,ideas and writing structure.The second chapter is an overview of the admissions system for undergraduate admissions to world-class universities.It introduced undergraduate admissions for world-class universities in the United States,including the idea of admissions,admissions institutions,the way of admissions,the standard of admissions,and international admissions policies.Through a more comprehensive overview for admissions of undergraduate students,the overall understanding of the admission process for top university undergraduate admissions in United States.The third chapter is the characteristics of the admission of undergraduate enrollment in the first-class universities in the United States.Through the analysis of the admission system of the undergraduate enrollment in the top universities in the United States,the main characteristics of the diversification of the undergraduate enrollment system in the top universities in the United States are summarized.The characteristics of diversification are mainly reflected in the diversity and flexibility admission criteria,diversity independent admissions institutions,diversity fair admissions admission process,and diversity comprehensive admissions results.The fourth chapter is the utility analysis of the admission system of undergraduate students in the first-class universities in the United States.It mainly discusses the importance of diversified undergraduate admissions system for the quality of students,the level of running schools and the fairness of enrollment.The fifth chapter is the conclusion and reference.On the basis of analyzing the effectiveness of the diversified undergraduate enrollment system in the top universities in the United States,it puts forward its enlightenment to the reform of China's"double-first class" colleges and universities independent enrollment system,which including diversification of enrollment standards and diversification of enrollment institutions.The admission and enrollment process focus on the balance of selection and fairness.
