| This study mainly investigates the general situation of middle school students’ idolatry,studies the relationship between middle school students’ idolatry,self-identity and subjective well-being,and further understands the psychological characteristics and reality of middle school students’ idolatry,as well as the attitude of parents,teachers and peers towards their idolatry,To improve the subjective well-being,put forward the corresponding education suggestions.This research is mainly divided into two parts: quantitative research and qualitative research.In the quantitative research,605 middle school students in s city were investigated by using the idolatry scale,adolescent self-identity crisis scale and adolescent subjective well-being scale.The relationship among Idolatry,self-identity and subjective well-being was studied,and the mediating effect of self-identity between idolatry and subjective well-being was verified.In the qualitative research,33 students and 5 teachers of a middle school in s city were interviewed to explore the problems of idolatry in Study 1.Through the above quantitative research and qualitative research,the main results are as follows:(1)Idolatry has significant differences in gender and grade.(2)There are significant differences in self-identity among only child,object of worship and group of worship.(3)Subjective well-being has significant difference in family economic status.(4)Idolatry is negatively correlated with subjective well-being;idolatry is positively correlated with self-identity.(5)Idolatry has a positive predictive effect on self-identity,while idolatry has a significant negative predictive effect on subjective well-being.(6)Self identity plays a complete mediating role between idolatry and subjective well-being.(7)The reasons for idolatry of middle school students mainly include appearance,mental quality,ability and talent.(8)There are material support,spiritual support and imitation in idolatry behavior of middle school students.The influence of imitation has two sides.(9)Most middle school students think that idolatry can promote their learning.The influence of idolatry on life mainly includes four aspects: the quality of learning idols,peer relations,personality changes,sensory pleasure.(10)Most of the students,teachers and parents hold a supportive attitude towards idolatry,and think that as long as they don’t indulge in idolatry excessively,they can take it as an example. |
