| In recent years, due to the changes in the overall social and economic environment in China, finance workers in enterprises are facing higher and higher demands and more and more challenges. At the same time, the nature and content of finance work are fixed and routine in nature, coupled with the lack of attention to finance by enterprise managers and other reasons, making the problem of burnout among finance workers in enterprises more and more prominent, bringing adverse effects to personal physical and mental health, enterprise development and social stability.Since the 1970 s,burnout has been a hot topic of research in the field of organizational psychology and occupational health abroad. However, compared with foreign studies,it is still inadequate. It is mainly focused on medical and nursing personnel, teachers and other industries that focus on "interaction with people",and relatively little research has been conducted on burnout of corporate finance workers. This study investigates the current situation of burnout among corporate finance workers, focuses on the relationship between the job characteristics of finance workers and burnout, and further explores the predictive power of a specific job characteristic on the structural dimensions of burnout. In this paper, based on the studies related to job characteristics and burnout,a well-established scale widely used in related fields at home and abroad was selected.Through a questionnaire survey of 231 corporate finance workers in the Wenzhou area, the valid data collected were subjected to descriptive statistical analysis, analysis of variance, and correlation analysis to partially confirm the research hypotheses. The results of the study showed that task importance, job autonomy, and job feedback had a significant negative predictive effect on burnout.Finance workers in Wenzhou were at a moderate level of burnout, with two dimensions of reduced fulfillment and depersonalization being more significant. In conjunction with the findings of this paper, job characteristics theory is applied to propose specific suggestions for preventing burnout among finance workers in enterprises from the perspectives of clarifying the importance of their tasks, improving job autonomy, and establishing job feedback, including implementing finance job rotation, establishing good work connections, improving performance evaluation and incentive systems, and adopting flexible work arrangements.Although the sample size of this paper is relatively insufficient, the overall findings are of great practical significance to enrich the theories related to job characteristics and burnout and to help enterprises prevent burnout among finance workers. |
