In the practical work of mental health education in primary schools,pupils’ internalizing and externalizing behavior problems are universal and high incidence.It is of great practical significance to investigate the causes of pupils’ problem behaviors and find effective intervention measures.The bad experience of primary school students in childhood will damage their psychological development,which is one of the root causes of their problem behaviors.In this study,students from a primary school in Dongguan was chosen as the object to investigate the current situation of internalizing problem behaviors and externalizing problem behaviors of primary school student.To explore the mediation role of psychological resilience between adverse childhood experience and internalizing behavior problems or externalizing behavior problems.To explore the improvement effect of mindfulness intervention on internalizing behavior problems or externalizing behavior problems of primary school students.In the first study,cross-sectional study was used to explore the current situation of internalizing problem behaviors or externalizing problem behaviors of primary school students.In Study 2,a randomized study was conducted to investigate the effect of mindfulness intervention on children’s internalizing problem behaviors,externalizing problem behaviors and psychological resilience.The results are as follows:(1)21% of the children in this primary school have some of internalizing problem behaviors or externalizing problem behaviors.67% of the primary school students have some adverse childhood experience.(2)Adverse childhood experience can not only directly affect internalizing problem behaviors or externalizing problem behaviors,but also indirectly affect internalizing problem behaviors or externalizing behavior problems through psychological resilience.(3)Mindfulness intervention can significantly reduce peer interaction problems in internalizing problem behaviors of primary school students with adverse childhood experience,but it has not been found that mindfulness intervention can reduce peer interaction problems by improving psychological resilience.Internalizing problem behaviors or externalizing problem behaviors of children are directly affected by adverse childhood experience.At the same time,through psychological resilience,it can provide different strategies and perspectives for children’s problem behaviors and childhood trauma intervention.Mindfulness training can provide effective content supplement for interpersonal relationship course of mental health education in primary school.
