| In 2015,UNESCO released the education 2030 framework for action,which proposed the concept of education 4.0 in the era of industry 4.0.The framework proposes to develop students’ ability and literacy to cope with local and global survival challenges.Countries are urged to focus on the quality of education and students’ ability to innovate,and to strengthen the integrated development of science,technology,engineering and mathematics(STEM).STEM education originated in the United States.Later,many developed countries also actively explored and implemented STEM education from top to bottom.STEM education has become the development trend of global education.China has attached importance to STEM education from the perspective of national policy.STEM education is an important means for a country to improve its comprehensive national strength.Based on the concept of STEM education,this study adopts the method of empirical research to study the development of the STEM comprehensive curriculum of Z school--"survival on a desert island" project,analyzes the important features of STEM curriculum,and makes an in-depth study of the teaching mode of primary school students in learning STEM curriculum.The emphasis is on the teaching practice of school-based STEM courses and the management of STEM courses.This paper demonstrates the implementation of STEM courses in theory and verifies the implementation procedures of STEM courses in practice.After the reflection and analysis on the implementation of the STEM curriculum based on project-based learning in primary schools,the research results show that:1.The STEM curriculum in primary schools based on project-based learning helps develop students’ ability to learn collaboratively.In project-based learning,students can successfully complete project tasks through the cooperation of their peers.2.A STEM curriculum in elementary school based on project-based learning helps students develop problem solving skills.In project learning,students use advanced knowledge to include advanced knowledge,and learn to apply the knowledge and skills they have learned in the process of solving problems.3.Schools should establish a systematic and complete STEM curriculum group,which can help students learn STEM courses as a whole and truly cultivate students’ critical thinking and creativity.4.Relevant departments should establish STEM curriculum standards and evaluation system as soon as possible to help schools standardize the implementation of STEM curriculum and guarantee the teaching quality of the curriculum.5.Relevant departments should promote the successful model of STEM courses,increase the participation path of social forces,publicity efforts and financial investment,and combine STEM education inside and outside the campus,so as to promote the sharing and popularization of STEM education.The practice and management of STEM courses in primary schools in this study will provide reference for the teaching practice of STEM courses in primary schools in the future.And,of course,in the process of project implementation,because of the limitation of time and class time for the rest of the teaching pattern of STEM remains to be discussed,STEM education is the trend of future education,hope in the future teaching can continue to explore STEM other education teaching mode,developing students’ comprehensive ability,strive to cultivate innovative talents. |
