In recent years,with the rapid development of China’s higher education,the number of college students has been increasing,followed by a large increase in the number of graduates.The influx of such a large number of graduates into the labor market has undoubtedly intensified the tension of the employment situation.On the one hand,due to the downward economic pressure and the COVID-19 epidemic,it is more difficult for graduates to find jobs and face new challenges.On the other hand,with the increasingly fierce competition for talents among regions,the supply and demand of talents are structurally unbalanced,and the employment situation is more complex and severe.Among them,the mismatch between the employment expectations of college students and the needs of employers has become the main contradiction of the current employment problem of college students,as well as an urgent problem to be solved by college students,employers,universities and the government.This paper takes the current employment expectation of college students and the talent demand of employers as the entry point to carry out investigation and research.Through conducting extensive and targeted questionnaires on college students’ employment expectations and employers’ demands in some universities in Dalian,and combining with the interviews and surveys of the staff of the employment management department of colleges and the human resources department of employers,the author understands the current situation of college students’ employment expectations and employers’ talent demands.Using SPSS data statistical analysis software,this paper analyzes the factors that affect college students’ career choice and employers’ recruitment,and then sums up the reasons that cause the imbalance between them.It is found that there are many reasons for the mismatch between the employment expectations of college students and the demands of employers.On the one hand,college students’ self-positioning is inaccurate,their employment cognition is biased,and their professional basic knowledge and vocational ability are deficient.On the other hand,the implementation of employment policies and services is incomplete,the communication of employment information is not smooth,and the traditional talent training mode urgently needs to be reformed.This article from the government,colleges and universities,college students,four angles of unit of choose and employ persons to carry out the countermeasure analysis,put forward a series of promoting college students employment quality meet the demand of social countermeasures,to solve the problem of university students’ employment under the new situation to provide realistic and theoretical basis,the employment guidance for colleges and universities curriculum has provided the new mentality,the talent training mechanism adjustment,in order to realize college students employment smoothly with the help of unit of choose and employ persons two-way choice.
