Research On The Strategic Development Of North Investment Group Education Sector

Born in the late 1990 s,the Independent College as a new and special pattern of Chinese higher education emerged with the market economy and the expansion of college enrollment.It represents an important change in the development of China’s higher education and occupies a pivotal position in the higher education sequence.After extensive early development and primitive accumulation,some independent colleges intend to break away from their parent universities and realize completely self-sponsored education.To maintain the order and healthy development of higher education,as well as to protect the success of the collaborative development of the existing private and public education sectors,the government has carried out a series of administrative interventions and macro guidance.However,the results were not satisfactory and did not achieve the expected effects.The development of independent colleges is faced with many problems and difficulties.In the face of increasingly fierce market competition,independent colleges must make great progress in strategic decision-making and embarking on a higher and far-reaching development path.After 13 years of development,ZJ College needs to seek new path of development at the intersection where it has accumulated a certain foundation and is increasingly divergent from the educational philosophy of its parent university.This thesis uses document retrieval,field investigation,data analysis and other methods to provide an in-depth study of the internal and external environment of ZJ College.After a SWOT analysis of the internal advantages,internal disadvantages,external opportunities and external challenges of ZJ College,it is suggested that the transfer of independent college to a private one would be the best strategic choice for ZJ collegeTo best implement the strategic choice of ZJ college,this paper formulates several safeguard measures suitable for its development,including: first,to build up the school characteristics by defining the orientation of school operation,constructing feature specialty and creating the school brand;second,to improve the education quality of ZJ college by strengthening the teaching staff and enhancing international exchange and cooperation;third,to ensure sustainable development by improving leadership system,establishing teaching quality monitoring system,and closely connecting with local resources.It is expected that through a series of analysis and suggestions,this paper can provide a reference for the strategic development of ZJ college after the transfer of the ownership,so as to promote the healthy development of independent colleges and even the whole higher education in China.
