| Labor is the essential characteristic of human beings,labor has been playing an important role in human’s development.It not only created the human beings,but also guarantee the basic of human’s material wealth while creating the spiritual wealth of human civilization.In the new era of the development of Chinese socialist cause,school education advocates "work to uphold morality,work to keep fit,work to increase wisdom,work to cultivate beauty,work to develop",so as to promote the comprehensive and all-around development of students.This means the importance,necessity and urgency of labor education.The existing research and practice fully show that the labor education and the other four educations are closely related,interdependent and mutually promoting,and the labor education has an important role and value to the modern education.At the same time,labor education should be a gradual process and in accordance with the grade of the students,as well as presenting its implication and effect.However,in recent years,China’s preschool labor education have revealed some problems,for example,the content and requirements exist in name only and are indifferently carried out,the form of implementation is monotonous and lack of innovation and falls behind the era’s requirement,at the same time the preschool and primary school labor education have the problems of experiencing disjoint and fault.Nevertheless,as an important topic in the field of educational practice,the connection between preschool and primary education has not been paid much attention to.Based on this problem,this study focused on labor education in preschool from the perspective of transition from preschool to primary school,which aims to understand the problems of labor education in terms of the transition form preschool to primary by presenting the status quo of the planting activities,and to explore the reasons of the labor education’s existence in terms of the transition form preschool to primary,and the path to promote and optimize it,so as to bring close the relation of preschool’s and primary school’s labor education,as well as to provide some references for further practicing the labor education in preschool.This paper is divided into the following three parts:The first part is theoretical analysis,this is the logic starting point of this research is based on the literature and analysis,we had a discussion on the preschool and primary school education from the essence of labor education and its special requirements,we also made it clear about the necessary direction of labor education in basic education,including the main characteristics of preschool and primary school’s labor education as well as the basic principle,which can provide theoretical support and evidence for the investigation and analysis of this study.The second part is the investigation results of the present situation of this study.By using the method of observation,I conducted a non-participatory observation on preschool A and primary school E in Chengdu.By using the method of interview,I had in-depth interviews of ten teachers from five preschool and the four primary schools in Chengdu,combined with the observation tables,pictures,interview records,I revealed the growing conditions creation,goal setting,content selection and organization,implementation,evaluation reflection of plating activities from preschool and primary school.It is found that there are some problems in labor education in preschool and primary school,such as teachers’ weak awareness of cohesion,lack of communication between the preschool teachers and primary school,having different teaching approaches in preschool and primary school,lack of teachers’ professional guidance and learning,the concept deviation of parents group under the exam-oriented education system,lack of in-depth co-education in home-school cooperation.The last part is some reflections and suggestions for study: Promoting transition form preschool to primary needs the joint efforts of every main body cohesion,therefore different institutions in basic education should further strengthen the transition,preschool should attache great importance to the children’s school readiness work in an overall and specific way,primary schools should earnestly strengthen the projects and activities for children to adapt to school,strengthen the management of basic education connection,and construct the initiative and two-way connection between preschool and primary school.Teachers need to renew the idea,attitude,value the design of labor education activity goals,pay attention to the graduality,choose appropriate teaching methods,evaluation method,be based on children,earnestly strengthen the personal labor education idea and ability,guarantee the education quality,further enhance labor education in teachers’ education in terms of cohesion concept and ability;Pay attention to the status and role of parents,change the ideology of parents,and further promote the home-school co-education;The government should increase publicity,attach importance to creating a good atmosphere of labor education,and provide basic support for the connection of labor education in preschool and primary school. |
