Study On The Influence Of College Students Psychological Craving For Smart-phone On Smart-phone Addiction And Its Intervention

With the arrival of 4G/5G network,smart-phone phones have become the terminals of intelligent services to meet People’s Daily needs,from basic necessities of clothing,food,housing and transportation to assistance in social communication,study and work.People can better adapt to the information society through smart-phone phones.But the psychological and physiological problems brought by smart-phone phone addiction should not be ignored.According to the theory of media system dependence and the theory of negative reinforcement emotional processing,when a certain behavior or substance satisfies people’s needs and alleviates negative emotions,people are also prone to strengthen this behavior or rely on this substance.For example,when people are engaged in a certain job,they are often influenced by the clues related to smart-phone phones and have a strong desire to use them.They often turn on their smart-phone phones to check the relevant software information to make up for the anxiety of missing out and meet the social needs.Such involuntarily behavior may affect the normal pace of work and study,and eventually lead to the current work anxiety,which in turn aggravates people’s psychological problems.In this study,a questionnaire survey was conducted to explore the relationship between mobile phone craving,We-chat overuse and smart-phone addiction,and to analyze the mediating role of we-chat overuse in smart-phone craving and smart-phone addiction.In the second study,the time perception of the addicts in the withdrawal situation was investigated by means of behavioral experiment,and the time distortion anxiety of the subjects in the withdrawal situation was investigated.Then,the case study was used to carry out the mindfulness intervention,with a view to reducing the negative emotions such as loss anxiety caused by time distortion under the condition of trial abstinence,and to reduce the craving for the smart-phone,the average daily use time of smart-phone was reduced to alleviate the addiction of smart-phone.Specific research design and results are as follows:Study1:data related to addiction of 609 college students were collected.Through data analysis,it was found that:(1)In terms of demographic variables,there are significant differences in grades of smart-phone addiction.The scores of smart-phone phone addiction in senior and graduate students are higher than those in lower grades.(2)on the correlation between psychological desire,We-Chat overuse and variable was significantly positive correlation between smart-phone phone addiction,smart-phone phones psychological craving and addiction medium correlation(r=0.47,p< 0.001),the smart-phone phone of longing and We-Chat excessive use of psychological medium correlation(r=0.59,p<0.001),We-Chat excessive use was associated with a significant smart-phone psychological desire(r=0.37,p<0.001);(3)Overall regression analysis showed that after controlling for demographic variables,psychological craving for smart-phone phone and We-Chat overuse were the predictors of smart-phone phone addiction We-Chat overuse(β=0.470,p<0.001)and psychological craving for smart-phone phone(β=0.297,P<0.001)were positive predictors of smart-phone phone addiction,with a total explanatory variance of 42.6%.(4)In terms of mediating effect,We-Chat overuse had a mediating effect,the total effect was 0.390,the indirect effect was 0.09,and the mediating effect value was 23.07%.Psychological craving can not only directly predict smart-phone phone addiction,but also indirectly influence smart-phone phone addiction through the overuse of We-Chat.The overuse We-Chat plays a partial mediating role between psychological craving and smart-phone phone addiction.Study 2:through behavior experiment method,A total of 338 college students were tested to fill in the Adult Smart-phone Addiction Inventory,We-Chat Overuse Inventory and Self-Rating Anxiety Inventory offline,and the time to fill in the scale was estimated.The results showed that:(1)Under the condition of smart-phone phone prohibition,there was a significant difference in the time interval ratio between the smart-phone phone addiction group and the control group(t=3.106,p<0.01).smart-phone phone addicts perceived longer periods of time when smart-phone phone use was banned than non-addicts.(2)Under the condition that smart-phone phone use was prohibited,the time ratio of We-Chat overuse group and control group was significantly different(t=4.322,p<0.001).Compared with non-We-Chat over-users,We-Chat over-users perceived longer periods of time when smart-phone phone use was prohibited.(3)Under the condition of smart-phone phone prohibition,there were significant differences between the group with both smart-phone phone addiction and We-Chat overuse and the control group(t=9.089,p<0.001).Those who were both smart-phone phone addicts and We-Chat over-users were more likely to perceive periods when smart-phone phone use was banned than those who were not.(4)Specific numerical analysis showed that the time ratio of We-Chat overuse group(not smart-phone phone addiction),both smart-phone phone addiction and We-Chat overuse group were much higher than normal,and there was a significant overestimation of time interval.Then,divided college students with smart-phone phone addiction into a control group and an experimental group.The experimental group underwent a four-week mindfulness intervention: weekly group intervention and daily meditation-assisted training.The results showed that:(1)There were no significant differences between the control group and the experimental group in the factors of smart-phone addiction,psychological craving for social pictures and average time of social use per day before the intervention,but there were significant differences between the experimental group and the control group in the factors of smart-phone addiction,psychological craving for social pictures and average time of social use per day after the intervention.(2)the way smart-phone addiction each factor before and after the intervention and social images within the psychological desire,significant differences on the social average daily use time,after the intervention,the experimental group of the smart-phone addiction and each factor scores decline,the social psychological desire feeling is reduced,images,social average daily use shorter time.(3)At the end of the intervention after a month of follow-up study,the experimental group of smart-phone addiction scores,the APP use factor,the social images of psychological desire,has certain social average daily use time,show that mindfulness training interfere with cell phone addict has certain effect,but there is a decrease in the intervention effect over time.Based on the above studies,this study draws the following conclusions:(1)Psychological craving positively predicted We-Chat overuse and smart-phone phone addiction,an We Chat B1 overuse positively predicted smart-phone phone addiction;Psychological craving can not only directly predict smart-phone phone addiction,but also indirectly influence smart-phone phone addiction through the overuse of We-Chat.The overuse o We Chat B1 plays a partial mediating role between psychological craving and smart-phone phone addiction.(2)smart-phone phone addiction group(not We-Chat overuse),We-Chat overuse group(not smart-phone phone addiction),smart-phone phone addiction and We-Chat excessive use of three group participants,relative to the control group feel longer to ban the use of smart-phone phone,smart-phone addict and We-Chat excessive users combined effect,intensified We-Chat excessive use of smart-phone addict from distortion,both beguiled by phone and attachment We-Chat subjects,in the cell phone ban the use of time,there is anxiety,sense of time is more long,to exist from overvalued.And it is precisely because of the longer subjective time of withdrawal,awareness of waiting to use smart-phone time is too long,so that people can not restrain the frequent use of smart-phone,the withdrawal time is difficult to adapt to the need for further intervention.(3)Mindfulness training can improve smart-phone addiction by reducing withdrawal reaction and APP use.Mindfulness training can reduce the social craving of cell phone addicts and reduce the average social day use time,but the effect is not obvious when the social day use time is less Mindfulness training had some intervention effect on cell phone addicts,and the effect of intervention decreased with time.This suggests that participants in the withdrawal situation may have increased their threshold for time duration through mindfulness intervention。...
