| Physics is a subject closely integrated with experiment.Modern smart phones have built-in sensors such as acoustics,optics,electricity distance,gyroscope,acceleration,air pressure and temperature.Many physics experiments can be done using the powerful hardware functions and software applications of smart phones.In addition,the use of smart phones can also design new physics experiments.The main research of this thesis is to use the smartphone-assisted experiment software Phyphox to conduct junior high school physics experiments.For this reason,this article has done the following researches:The paper has studied using Phyphox,a smart phone assistive experimental software,to carry out physics experiments in junior high school.On this purpose,the paper has investigated the following aspects.In the first section,the research status of the combination of smart phones and physics experiments in junior high schools was investigated through literature review,and a questionnaire survey has been conducted.Through conducting the questionnaire on the application of smart phones in physics teaching to frontline teachers in middle schools,the situation of the application of smart phones in physics teaching was obtained.By summarizing the data,the feasibility of this research was determined.In the second section,the concepts of physics experiments in junior high schools,smart phone,Phyphox,teaching design and other concepts have been defined.Literatures on the combination of smart phones and physics experiments in junior high schools were reviewed to expound the theoretical basis of the study.In the third section,Phyphox has been used to carry out physics experiments in junior high schools.The paper has described the design and operation process of some physics experiments,such as "Measuring the Average Velocity of Objects","Measuring the Instantaneous Velocity of Objects","Extended Experiment: Measuring the Propagation Velocity of Sound","Exploring the Factors affecting the Effect of pressure","Exploring the Characteristics of Sound",etc.In the fourth section,the paper has selected two representative experiments to write the teaching design cases of the application of smart phone in physics experiments in junior high schools.Through the study of the paper,the application of smart phones,compared to traditional experiments,can greatly improve the accuracy of measurement.Compared to DISLab(Digital Information System Laboratory),smart phones have no external sensors,external data collector,computer and wires and other things.However,smart phones have multiple sensors themselves,as well as a great number of APPs,which are easy to carry,operate and display.Phyphox has brought up a new experimental idea for the physics experiment class in junior high schools.The combination of smart phones and physics experiments will be an important direction of the development of physics experiments in junior high schools. |
