Research On Specialties Setup In Higher Vocational Colleges Based On Professional Structure Adjustment

As known as industrial structure played an important role in the local economic development.And economic development need a lot of high quality labor.Higher vocational education was responsible for skilled talents in China.The degree of matching between the local industrial structure and higher vocational education,which was considered as an icon of local vocational education.Adjusting and optimizing the specialty setup of higher vocational education was served for updating industrial structure and determined directly the degree of matching between the local industrial structure and higher vocational education.Firstly,the conceptions of the higher vocational education,specialty setup and industrial structure were elaborated in this paper.At the background of planning and market economy,the history and development of the country’s industrial structure and higher vocational education were qualitative analyzed.Then the present specialty setup of higher vocational education in Hubei province was discussed,with five model school case provided.Some problems in specialty setup were induced.Secondly,the Grey Relation Analysis(GRA)was applied in analyzing the correlation intertwined between the higher vocation education and the industrial development.The each industrial contributing rate,proportion of employees and pulling rate in three industries structure were described as the sampling indices.And the numbers of specialty setup,correlation degree of each industrial employment demand and graduations of higher vocational colleges,acceptance rate of higher vocational colleges,were targeted as comparison indices.Based on the analyzed results from GRA,the deviation index was applied in analyzing the impact of the specialty setup on local industrial structure.Finally,some advices and suggestions for optimizing and upgrading specialty setup of higher vocational colleges were proposed in the paper.
