As the first female doctor of medicine in Italy and one of the representative educators of the European New Education Movement,Maria Montessori,(1870-1952)has the courage to innovate and create on the basis of critically inheriting and summing up the theories of many scholars.Combined with his rich academic experience and long-term experimental research in Casa Dei Bambini,the Montessori preschool education system is formed,which has a profound influence on preschool education in the world.In 2016,the Ministry of Education of the People’s Republic of China promulgated the "the Statutes of Kindergartens" clearly pointed out that preschool children’s education needs to be developed in an all-round way,and kindergarten should pay attention to the music education of preschool children.Since the late 1980 s,Montessori preschool education has attracted extensive attention and extensive practice in the field of preschool children’s education in China.The Montessori preschool education system contains abundant theories and practices of preschool children’s education,although the music education of preschool children is not put forward in Montessori preschool education system,but the content of music education always runs through it.The author finds that in Montessori preschool education system contains many forms of music education,such as auditory perception,gymnastics rhythm and musical instrument playing,are used to stimulate the intrinsic potential of preschool children and help them to develop in an all-round way.This study is based on the perspective of music education,amplifying the content of music education in Montessori preschool education system.Adopting the methods of historical documents,interdisciplinary research and investigation,this study systematically analyzes and studies the background of Montessori preschool education theory system,educational core content and the characteristics of all kinds of educational practice.Music education theory in Montessori education system is taken as the basis,the main contents of music education theory in Montessori preschool education system are as follows: 1.Take the child as the center,rely on the children’s active nature music education view;2.Creation of music environment to stimulate children’s musical potential of music education goals;3.Enrich children’s musical literacy and master scientific methods of music education.In order to explore the connotation of Montessori preschool music education,the author chooses Xuzhou Q kindergarten authorized by Jiangsu Province as the object,and adopts the non-participatory observation method in the natural situation.After more than two months of observation and effective analysis of specific cases,it is found that Montessori preschool music education is mainly through quiet training,auditory sensitivity training,the educational practice of cognition and feeling of music,expression and creation of music and other educational practice activities,it has the characteristics of spontaneous,playful and comprehensive music education.In addition to exploring its own music education,it also pays more attention to music-assisted education in areas such as the daily life education,sensory education and language education.Montessori preschool music education is a kind of music enlightenment education that loves children and respects children.It is of great significance to enrich the music education environment,improve children’s musical perception ability and promote the comprehensive development of children.In the end,this study analyzes the limitations of Montessori preschool music education in terms of children’s self-regulation ability and adult cognition and guidance,and points out that it is necessary to correctly understand the theory of Montessori preschool education and advocate the localization of Montessori music education.At the same time,the author puts forward some suggestions on the development of Montessori music education in the times: We should correctly understand Montessori preschool education theory,advocate the localization of Montessori music education,create independent music education environment,configure scientific musical education tools,provide comprehensive music education resources,and construct effective music education time and space.
