In the current social environment,primary school students should be innocent but face a lot of academic pressure.Their pressure comes from the parents’ excessive requirements,school homework examination pressure,peer group competition comparison pressure and students’ own level of resistance.however the problem of excessive learning pressure not only affects the development of China’s talent education but also cause students’ mental health.Therefore,how to guide the senior primary school students with a good attitude to ease academic pressure,is an important task of parents,schools,society.Based on the "four-thirty classroom" service in the FM community of Jincheng City,this study was based on the sixth grade.Under the guidance of Lazarus stress theory and social support theory,the problem analysis and needs assessment were carried out on the senior primary school students in the "four-thirty classroom".It is understand that the main reasons for the generally high academic stress level of senior primary school students are insufficient understanding of academic stress,lack of good control of emotions and methods to cope with academic stress,parents’ high-pressure education concept.Therefore,through in-depth interviews with students,select six students with higher academic stress levels in the 4:30classroom to carry out group activities,to help students gradually understand the pressure,master the methods and techniques of venting stress,reduce academic stress,so that students have a good childhood.After pre-and post-test analysis,the group members generally improved their cognitive level of pressure,mastered the methods to release pressure,improved the parents’ high-pressure education concept,and reached the group’s expected goal.However,the author found some problems in carrying out activities,such as the lack of consideration of other factors,the particularity of the service objects,and the inability to provide one-to-one services in group work.It is hoped that social workers can overcome the difficulties and strive to provide some reference for the research in this field.
