| In recent years, orphans and disabled children,as a large number of special vulnerable groups in our society, have been highly concerned by the government. The national policies and regulations on orphans and disabled children have also made good progress. At the same time, our country put forward more requirements on the problem of orphans and disabled children, including the social integration of orphans and disabled children. Therefore,it is necessary for social work to intervene in self-problem of orphans and disabled children and help them how to solve their own problems and integrate into social services. On the basis of cognitive behavior theory and advantage perspective theory, this study mainly focuses on the social integration of orphans and disabled children and takes an orphaned and disabled child in T county welfare center as the research object, with social work research methods such as action research method, interview method and observation method.Through the analysis and collation of the collected data, the author elaborates the problems faced by orphans and disabled children in detail, and sets specific service goals for the main problems and needs of the clients. On this basis,I use the method of case work to help clients improve self-identity and self-confidence;improve social ability and developing peer groups;adapt to school life and society;improve interpersonal relationships;exercise self-care ability into social life.In the process of intervention,I used listening, empathy, gathering and other skills to serve the case, and ultimately led to the improvement of the client’s own problems and successful integration into society.Due to social workers’ limited service time, lack of energy, and insufficient practical experience, they have a certain impact on the long-term stability and maintenance of the status quo of the client. |
