A Case Work Attempt To Solve The Problem Of Underachievement Of College Students

China's higher education has changed from "elite education" to "mass education",and the problem of college students has become increasingly prominent.The current work of college students focuses on Ideological and political education,freshmen adaptation and employment consultation,neglecting the needs of students' academic assistance.The administrative characteristics of College Students' work can not give students personalized academic assistance,so a professional service is urgently needed to change the status quo.As a professional service,social work plays a unique role in helping underachievers to cope with challenges,obtain support and improve social functions.The author has been more concerned about the social work in Colleges and universities.After the introduction of the teacher,I came into contact with the service object.The service object is an undergraduate from f College of s University,who lives in the inner psychological problems such as negative learning attitude,low academic self-efficacy,unclear learning objectives,poor learning habits,low independent learning ability,poor self-control and other external behaviors.Based on ecosystem theory and self-efficacy theory,the author tries to intervene the case work with cognitive behavioral therapy mode to help them achieve the goals of learning state improvement,anxiety relief and network reconstruction.According to the test results of the scale and the affirmation of the change of the case owner by the case owner and others concerned,it shows that the intervention of case work method can alleviate the poor academic performance of the case owner.Finally,it summarizes the practical experience and shortcomings of case work,hoping to provide reference for the social work to intervene in college students' learning disabilities in the future.
