| The motivating style of teachers is the behavior tendency that the teacher takes in order to stimulate and maintain the student’s learning motivation and promote the student’s activity and study,which is mainly divided into autonomy-supportive style and controlling style.Different motivating styles have different effects on teacher-student interaction.Therefore,it is necessary to conduct an in-depth study on teachers’ motivating styles and their performance in teacher-student interaction of higher grade class in primary schools.so as to enrich the research on teachers’ motivation style and enhance the effectiveness of teacher-student interaction.This study takes the teachers of two primary schools in Qingdao city as the research object,by means of questionnaire survey,classroom observation,interview and video analysis,analyzes the motivating style tendency and difference of primary school teachers,and on this basis,analyzes the difference between the autonomy-supportive teachers and the controlling teachers in the interaction between higher grade teachers and students.According to the research results,the current motivating style of teachers in two primary schools in Qingdao city tends to be autonomy-supportive style.If the teacher’s motivating style is further divided into highly controlling style,moderately controlling style,moderately autonomy-supportive style and highly autonomysupportive style,the moderately autonomy-supportive style occupies the majority,which indicates that most teachers have certain consciousness and level of autonomysupportive.In terms of otherness,junior grade teachers are more inclined to autonomy-supportive than middle and higher grade teachers.This study analyzed the performance of teacher-student interaction from three areas of emotional support,class organization and teaching support.The level of autonomy-supportive teachers is higher than that of controlling teachers in terms of emotional support.and both of them are higher in the field of class organization and teaching support.Autonomy-supportive teachers are more able to bring positive influence to students,are better at creating a good classroom atmosphere and respect for individual students,and have better teacher sensitivity,educational feedback and language expression.Based on this,this study suggests that teachers should respect students,Create a pleasant atmosphere,Focus on student generation,Improve the quality of teaching feedback,implement effective dialogue,Enhance the level of autonomous-support. |
