Senior students’ learning state and learning effects in classroom in primary school have always been a key issue for teachers.However,the most important thing for teachers is to know how to keep students passionate and emotional while studying in the class.Also,new curriculum reform places emphasis on emotions of each student as well as enthusiasm to study.It encourages teachers to apply motivation wisely,to mobilize students study motivation so that students can feel enjoyable and study effectively.Therefore,motivating measures in the classroom exist for a reason.This article mainly analyzes motivating measures in the classroom,the problems of motivating measures,then bring up some feasible solving strategies.Besides that,it also tries to improve teachers’ professional competence and teaching ability by establishing and perfecting motivating measures.This research mainly analyzes the problems and causes of classroom motivation for seniors in elementary school through questionnaire surveys and teacher interviews.The questionnaire survey includes student questionnaires and teacher questionnaires.The first main problem is that teachers’ motivating measures lack fairness.Teachers cannot guarantee that the rewards given to students are equal,and cannot always guarantee rewarding criteria.the second problem is that teachers’ motivating measures lack effectiveness,mainly because the incentives are too simple or repeated.Another problem is that the time used for motivation in the classroom is also limited.Also the effective duration of the motivation cannot be guaranteed;the teacher’s motivation target has certain limitations.Not all the students can get effective motivation from their teaches in the classroom.And the implementation of group cooperation in most cases is just a formality.Lastly teachers’ motivating measures lack diversity.Teachers mostly focus on spiritual motivation,and often praise and criticize students verbally.The content ofspeech motivation used is often too repetitive.The reasons for these problems includes teachers’ insufficient understanding of classroom motivation,lack of corresponding support for the implementation of classroom incentives,teachers’ lack of enthusiasm for their professions,and harmonious teacher-student relationship unable to exist among all students.Based on the analysis of above problems and their causes,this study proposes specific and feasible strategies for teachers to use motivating measures in the classroom.First,grasp the features of different subjects and understand the prerequisites for motivation;second,strengthen training to improve teachers’ awareness and motivating ability,including job standardization vocational training,regular organization of special training on motivating measures,provision of outside training and interdisciplinary training;Third,be fair and impartial,building a harmonious teacher-student relationship;fourth,enrich motivating measures and be prepared.This includes strengthening teachers’ professional qualities,enriching motivating measures such as language motivating,role model motivating,activity motivating,and material motivating)and the availability of timely motivating;Fifth,create a good classroom incentive atmosphere.
