Secondary vocational school students’ problem behavior is the result of multiple factors,among which external environment and personal factors are two important aspects,negative life events,meaning in life and problem behavior are interrelated and interactive.It has been proved that negative life events can predict problem behaviors,and the research on the influence mechanism of negative life events to students’ meaning in life has made some achievements.However,there is little research on the combination of the three.In addition,the complex mechanism is conducive to us to put forward valuable educational enlightenment,so as to improve the physical and mental health of secondary vocational students.From this point of view,this paper explores the relationship among the negative life events,meaning in life and the problem behavior of secondary vocational school students.In this study,1251 secondary vocational school students’ negative life events,meaning in life and CB-children and adolescents’ problem behavior questionnaire were used to analyze the demographic differences of negative life events,meaning in life and problem behavior and the relationship among them.The results showed that:(1)The negative life events of secondary vocational school students are in the lower middle level,and there is no significant difference in gender,grade,and source;meaning in life of secondary vocational school students is in the lower middle level,and there is no significant difference in gender and source There are significant differences in grade;secondary vocational school students’ problem behaviors are in the lower middle level,and there are no significant differences in gender,grade,and student origin.(2)Negative life events were negatively correlated with meaning in life;negative life events were positively correlated with problem behavior;meaning in life was positively correlated with problem behavior.(3)The negative life events significantly predicted the meaning in life;the negative life events significantly predicted the problem behavior;the meaning in life significantly predicted the problem behavior.The conclusion of this study is that the meaning in life plays a part of mediating role in the influence of negative life events on problem behaviors.
