| The phenomenon of "Beauty Is Justice" among college students has emerged as one of the manifestations of youth subculture,which reflects the aesthetic behavior and value orientation of a wide range of young college students who judge people by appearance,attach importance to appearance while ignoring the inner beauty.Nowadays,this phenomenon has aroused more and more social concerns.In this context,the paper studied the phenomenon in detail.Firstly,the connotations and manifestations of "Beauty Is Justice" were analyzed.It was found that the phenomenon not only had various forms but also represented the changes in aesthetic interests and value orientations of contemporary society.On this basis,the paper interpreted the cultural connotations of the phenomenon guided by the theoretical knowledge of youth subcultures and Marxist theories.Next,it revealed the fact that young college students who uphold the subculture actively seek value identity and reflect their individuality.The phenomenon of "Beauty Is Justice" has boosted the development of "Beauty Is Justice",updated the social aesthetic concept,enhanced the self-management consciousness of young college students,and speeded up the socialization process of young people.However,"Beauty Is Justice" also has had negative impacts as a phenomenon.On the one hand,the significance of cultural consumption of young college students has been offset,with their rational thinking ability weakened and objective evaluation standard shaken.On the other hand,the cultural exchange and value transmission of the society has been restricted,and the intergenerational estrangement has been deepened.In view of the impact of such phenomenon on the values of young college students,it is required to stick to the effective value guidance for college students and implement it in practical actions,and strive to pursue development by integrating the four elements of ideological and political education,namely the main body,object,medium,and surrounding.We should also guide young college students to correctly understand the concept of "beauty" and perceive the true implication of "beauty",so at to form wholesome aesthetics and values among college students,prevent the negative influence of the value orientation of "Beauty Is Justice" from expanding,and promote the benign development of college students’ aesthetic behavior and value orientation. |
