With the concept of Healthy China,the "Internet +" technology has been used in the nation’s fitness,thus there is a spurt of development of the sports fitness APPs.With the outbreak of the COVID-19 epidemic in 2020,“Doing physical exercises at home” has been popular by using the sports fitness APPs with their own advantages,which has started an anti-epidemic craze for online fitness.Those Apps have been downloaded in a boost,which has motivated people’s stronger and deeper demand of healthy body.There is a greater increase of active users of the App of Keep which is the head product of domestic sports and fitness APP.During the epidemic,the number of its daily active users reached 6.13 million,an increase of 60% compared to the previous period.However,it is found that the research on the effect of using the App Keep has not received more attention from the perspective of health communication after the outbreak of the 2020 epidemic by using the method of literature review.Therefore,this research selects Keep as the research object,and takes the new media research theory and the classic theory of health communication as the main theoretical basis,and studies the factors of the user’s using effect of Keep from the perspective of health communication.Its purpose is to give more targeted suggestions for the development of Keep,and to provide a more valuable reference basis for the use of Keep and other similar sports and fitness APP.This article firstly uses the literature method to carefully sort out the previous research results,and builds the influencing factor model of the using effect of the Keep App based on the STIP New Media Research Model and the Health Belief Model Theory.Secondly,through the structured interviews,the personal factors of Keep users and Keep’s own media factors(technical characteristics,content characteristics and influence of others)are divided to establish preliminary indicators of the factors that affect the use of Keep,and then the final indicators are established through expert questionnaires.Then the user data is collected by using questionnaires,and the factors affecting the use of Keep are investigated.Through the correlation analysis and regression analysis,it is concluded that content characteristics and the influence of others exert more significant influences on users’ health attitudes among media factors.Meanwhile,technical characteristic influences users’ health behaviors more significantly.Through the above-mentioned analysis,the following conclusions can be drawn from the perspective of health communication: Personal characteristics and using habits of users can affect their effectiveness.It is easier to promote the users to establish a healthy attitude by enriching Keep’s content.It is more helpful for the users to keep their healthy behaviors by improving Keep’s technical characteristics.The constructive suggestions are given to strengthen the using effect of Keep,that is,to promote the usefulness by strengthening the accuracy of the data,optimize the interface design for the using experience,and improve the compatibility with different smart sports devices.
